His ex girlfriend stole his heart and shattered it, she broke his trust, his pride, his love.

Before all this happened mattia gave you his all, his attention, his affection, it all made you fall for him and you wished that his girlfriend never came into the picture. She ruined Everything, the love between you and mattia and you would never forgive her. She knew what she was doing, it was her plan, if she couldn't have him, now body could. Even his best friend. And he was too blind to see what was happening.

Ever since then mattia acted like you never existed. The calls will be ignored, text messages deleted. You even got told to go home when you went around his house. His mother was disappointed in him for doing such a thing but you reassured them that it was okay and it was just the wrong time.

From that day you would cry endlessly and pray that your friendship would be saved if he's willing to help. If he was willing to give his all to save you. You missed him, you missed his touch, his hugs, his cheek kisses, you missed his whole being.

When you heard about the breakup the first thing you did was run to Mattia's house, you watched as he walked around the house, he looked pale, the colour in his cheeks were drained. His goofiness seemed to disappear, and his smile was never visible.

He'll stay in his room, crying himself to sleep. Just by seeing him cry you already knew how broken he was. He didn't have to tell you, he didn't want to but you knew that something had to be done or else it'll just get worse. He didn't speak, he didn't make eye contact with his best friend and it made you scared. It made the tears well up and fall down your cheeks.

You don't see him with so much pain,
He was torn apart, his heart was tortured. He was the one that stayed strong for you, was the shoulder for you to cry on, the person to spill all your emotions to, and your trying your hardest to be that person for him too, to make up for all those times. You cried as you watched the tears fall from his eyes. He didn't want you around him like this, to see him broken, you did everything you could to help him. But he just wouldn't let you.

You tried talking to him, you tried calling and texting him but he wouldn't respond. This breakup had such an impact he even isolated himself to keep you happy, but it doesn't work out that way.

You lied in bed, staring up at the ceiling with tears falling down the side of your face, thinking about how mattia looked so shattered.

You took a deep breath as memories of you and him flashed in your head. It made you break down, the song that reminded you of him came to mind as it played in your mind.

You sighed and got out of bed, knowing what to do next, it all said it in the song.
You grabbed the hoodie that he gave you and pulled it on, putting on your slides and ran out of the house without a second thought. You ran to Mattia's house, tears still running down your face. You want him to be okay, you wanted to make sure that he was alright. You wanted him happy.

You loved him, you always will, and maybe he'll realise how much he loves you too.

You ran up on the porch and knocked on the door, mattia's mom answering. She saw the tears and immediately knew what you came for. She let you in with a sad smile.

"Go to him sweetheart"

You have her a small smile walked down the stairs to the basement, the door slightly ajar. You gently pushed the door open, the room was dark but you already knew that mattia was in bed. You heard sniffles, along with sobs. Even the sound of him crying made the tears well up and fall all over again.

You walked towards the bed
His body facing towards you. You took a deep breathe before opening the blankets and getting in beside him.

Mattia didn't move as you crawled over to him

you opened in his arms and layed beside him

He was calm when he felt your presence

wrapping his arms around you

You felt him pull you closer

He hid his face in your neck

And you instantly started crying

Hugging him tighter

He sobbed in your neck, feeling his body flushed against yours made both of you feel safe
