She hated bus rides . It was long and boring and people tended to stare and invade your personal space .
She hated people invading her personal space . The only persons who were allowed was her friends and family.
She stared out of the window of the bus as it entered the town of Forks . She was on the wrong side so she didn't see the sign that welcomed every visitor to Forks .
Rain pelted against the bus' windows obscuring her view , but she didn't care because the scenery outside didn't really interest her .
The bus pulled in at the nearest bus station ,that happened to be near the diner on main street, and people began getting off . She was one of the last , carrying only a backpack and a small handbag . She had no other luggage because she didn't think that she'd be staying long .
The rain was still pouring down and she watched as people quickly greeted family or friends that they were visiting or coming home to and then ran to their vehicles .
Looking at the rain wet pavement she realised that she'd have to get under cover if she didn't want to be wet in a matter of seconds.
She looked over to the diner deciding to run over there as fast as she can . Luckily she gets there without getting too wet .
The friendly African American woman who owns the place looks up smiling at her from her place behind the counter where she's busy pouring a man in a police uniform a cup of coffee .
" Sit down anywhere , I'll be right there with you ", she says .
Ella smiles back , taking a seat at an empty table near the entrance , placing her backpack and handbag on the seat beside her .
A few moments later the woman comes to take her order .
" Just coffee and one of those muffins I can smell from here ", Ella says . She isn't really hungry . Not that she'd eaten anything today , but she just didn't have much of an appetite .
Once the woman walks away Ella's thoughts turns to what she should do next .
She would have to call her Uncles and Harry to tell them that she'd arrived in Forks safely .
She just hopes that Harry wasn't somewhere where no phonecall can reach him .She'd spoken to him two days ago and he'd said something about helping with the reconstruction of Hogwarts .
She would've helped if she didn't decide that coming here was important .
The sound of the door to the diner opening brings her back to reality .
Another police officer just walked in greeting the woman behind the counter with a friendly smile and a wave before walking past Ella's table .
He had dark hair and friendly brown eyes . He could've been Sirius' age . Not that Ella knew how old her father would've been by now .
Merlin, she missed her father so much . Atleast his killer got what she deserved even if it was by the hands of Molly Weasley who had no love for Ella because of Ginny Weasley still being in love with Harry Potter the man who saved the world .
Harry Potter the man who held Ella's heart in his hands .
The woman came back with Ella's muffin and coffee asking her if that would be all .
" Um, yes , but I'd like to ask you for some information on people that may or may not live around here ," Ella says hopefully but also nervously .
The woman could tell her about grandparents . That was if she knew them .
" Yes?", the woman asks looking at the brunette .
