The Döppelganger Witch

" So , you're Ella Black ?", Billy Black asks looking at the Döppelwitch that stood beside his son Jacob .

Ella nods holding her hand out to the Native American in the wheelchair.

" I am, and you're Billy, right?".

The man nods grasping the offered hand .

" I never thought I'd ever see a distant relative coming to see me ", he says causing Ella to give him a confused look .

Today she was dressed in skinny jeans and a blue long sleeved shirt , knee-high boots and a denim jacket that only reached her waist . She wanted to look nice for her new friend's father . Not that she actually wanted to impress him or anything . She just felt that she should look presentable, atleast .

" Distant relative?", she asks ,not wanting to beat around the bush ,so to speak .

" Ah, yes , I suppose you don't know the story of Apollo Black then ", Billy says sounding slightly sheepish for letting the cat out of the bag in the few first minutes of their meeting.

" I thought I was the last Black , but now I'm not so sure  ", Ella says  and Billy lets go of her hand to point her to a chair beside him .

" I'll tell you then", he says ," it'll take a while so I suggest you sit down and get comfortable ".

She obeys since he is afterall a Black and her Elder .

" Long ago when the first pale faces arrived on this land's shores our tribe lived around here in peace and harmony with nature . One of the pale faces was a man unlike any and he decided to come and live amongst our tribe and learn our ways .The man was Apollo Black ,a foreign shaman of his clan  that he didn't really spoke of . Apollo Black married a princess of our people and they had two sons Arcturus and Ephraim . Arcturus went back to clan Black when he was but a boy of eleven years because of a school for magic ,but Ephraim stayed and became chief of our clan when the time came and so the surname of our house was born . Through the many years there was many Ephraim Blacks , but none had the abilities of Arcturus . Yet as it is we had other secret abilities that no one ,not even you, should know about ,Ella Black , I would've told you the story in detail ,but I'm sure you wouldn't like to hear it at the moment ".

Ella listened quietly remembering that one of the family names of her clan was Arcturus ,but so was Regulus and Sirius and Orion and many others that she didn't even remember much about . She wondered if Arcturus was her Black ancestor  or maybe one of Apollo's many brothers or cousins or whatever.

" What is your story ?", he asks ," Jacob says that your friend Hermione said that your father was killed by his own cousin ".

" Well , yes ," she says looking down at her hands . She didn't really want to think of Sirius Black right now . It was still so very much painful. Some people were really unsympathetic sometimes . She didn't want to tell her story either.

"So , where'd you go to school ?", the old Native American continues his little interrogation so Ella purses her lips wondering what it was that he actually wanted .

"England ", she says after a few moments of thinking it through ,"I was born there too  . My father was Sirius Black  and my mother was Rosella Morgan . I am their only child . My mother died when I was one and my father was sent to prison for something he hadn't done . I was raised by my guardians Stefan and Damon Salvatore, they live in town now by the way ,if you want to meet them   ."

Billy just nods at that before saying " Well, Jake can show you around ,Ella ,and then we can meet again when it's lunch time, I'm making homemade hamburgers , hopefully you'll like them".
