I hurriedly ran to the school cafeteria because I woke up late today. I dashed through the halls and saw some classmates who were also going to the same destination as mine. As I ran, I saw Miss Cecille, holding a newspaper and intimately reading it.

“I wonder what that paper is about.” I said to myself, “Why would Miss Cecille read it that way?”

I kept on running  until I bumped onto the door of the cafeteria.

I stumbled down and when I gained back my senses, a girl greeted me, “Good Morning Kujo. Nice to see you stumble down today. I hope all your daydreams come true.”

That fall was painful. It really hurt. When I turned to see the one who gave me a weird good morning greet, I saw Victorique. Yes, Victorique de Blois. The one who desperately wants to see me in all unfortunate events in my life.

“G-Good Morning, Victorique.” I greeted her while patting the back of my head. I can really feel the huge lump on my head.

“Hmph. How dare you talk back to me slave.” Victorique replied.

I sighed. I know I couldn’t win an argument against Victorique. She’s just so stubborn and unkind. But though she’s like that, I never fail to appreciate her.

“Okay okay I’m sorry.” I told her.

I stood up and sat on a chair. Victorique left with her bread and went back to the botanical garden inside the library. Few moments later, I saw Miss Cecille walk in the cafeteria. When I saw her, I remembered the paper she was holding before.

“I wonder what that paper was about.” This statement came marching inside my mind again.

Miss Cecille caught me staring at her. She then approached me and asked, “Why the big face Kujo? Is there something wrong with me today?”

“Ohh Miss Cecille, you’re here. Ha-ha.” I told her trying to fake a laugh. “Good Morning!”

She looked at me closely. She grabbed my bread which was on the plate and started nibbling on it. Right after finishing it, she faced me again and asked, “What’s wrong Kujo?”

I knew I couldn’t keep it to myself. I really  had to ask her what that paper was about.

“Umm, Miss Cecille, I saw you this morning and…” I started,

“and… what?” she replied.

“and I was wondering why you were reading that paper thoroughly. What was that about?”

She opened her bag and brought out the newspaper. She scanned for a certain article and showed it to me. Then and there I saw a picture of a beautiful lady being charged for murder.

“What is that article about?” I asked Miss Cecille.

“Its about this girl. Umm, who was on a boat, who was said to have killed the old woman who was like, umm, predicting the future I guess?” Miss Cecille replied.

I knew I couldn’t get a straight answer from her. That was to be expected from Miss Cecille. So instead of asking her what the article was REALLY about, I asked her if I could borrow the newspaper she had this morning.

“That would be great! Now I can have this information relayed to Victorique. Thank you Kujo!” Miss Cecille told me after handing over the paper to me. Right after that, she immediately left and wandered off somewhere.

Here I go again. Going back to where Victorique is. Well I guess this has become my daily routine. At least I get to see her everyday.

I read the article while walking towards the library. I was so focused on reading it that I didn’t noticed that I was already at the garden and Victorique was already staring at me. She was surrounded by big books that were almost half her size. Her golden hair shone under the morning sun. Her face was so striking that I couldn’t afford not to stare at her.

“What is it this time?” She asked while holding a pipe that wasn’t giving off any smoke at all. Just a mere ordinary pipe.

“Umm Victorique, about this article.” I started to talk when she interrupted me.

“So this is a case, huh. Right on time. I’m almost bored to death.” She said.

I saw the same paper on her lap. She has read the article right before I did. Well I guess this was to be expected from somebody like her. Nobody gets to beat her boredom.

“What can you say Victorique? Do you think that that girl was the culprit behind all that?” I asked her.

She gave me a serious stare. She was going to explain everything when somebody from the elevator of the garden showed up. I didn’t know that guy nor have I seen him before. Just when I was about to ask, the guy spoke to Victorique.

“What’s up, Gray Wolf?”
