( THE PREACHER'S WIFE PT 2 )   

The man of cloth returns home from his church convention which turned out to be a long weekend but as he turn the door nob to enter his home he is saddened with remorse as he remember what he left at home so as he opened the door he starts to call out to his wife saying honey I'm home babe I'm home he finds her in the kitchen standing near the sink he walks up behind her he put his arms around her as he attempts to kiss around her neck she pulls away and ask him man what's wrong with you he quickly shies away feeling worthless and helpless and very much less than a man but then he remember the sin that was Within he begin to smile as he thought about her Candy Kisses her sweet perfume the way she tasted when she got hot and sweaty but most of all how good it felt when he entered her his ego was then flooded it was built up as if it was never tore down he begin to put some pep in his walk as he walked across the floor he begin to whistle so his wife turned around and looked at him she just stood there and begin to stare. at first she was thinking to herself this Negro done lost his mind but then she remembered the one time. you know the one time when she stepped out but yet she was still in disbelief because she just knew the man of cloth would never cheat on her he was as faithful as they came and no matter how bad she treated him or how uncomfortable she made him feel like he was nothing at all she just knew that he will never betray her by being with another but she continued to watch him as she went on by her daily chores but the only thing she kept hearing was whistling and singing and then she heard him say last night I made love for the very first time but oh no he didn't stop there he begin to sing If Only You Knew and that's when she couldn't take it anymore she walked into his bedroom yes they slept in two separate rooms and she hit him across the head he was speechless he had no idea why she hit him so he just stood there looking crazy like the fool that she always assumed that he was but then she said to him wipe that stupid grin off your face why are you so happy all of a sudden The Man of cloth said what do you mean and what grin I'm not smiling so she spends  him around so he could look in the mirror and there it was one of the most amazing Smiles anyone could ever see and when he seen it he couldn't do nothing but laugh the more he laughed the more madder she got as she stormed out the room he said it must be the mattress because I didn't sleep at all last night his wife is so furious with him she went back to the room door just to slam it not one time but three times as she said mumbling up under her breath saying and he called himself a man of the cloth and I supposed to be a preacher's wife what kind of preacher is he I tell you what im about to flip this whole room over as she sat down on the couch she begin to think about how things used to be and the way it was before it got the way it is now and she began to cry well not really it was just something in her eye yes one teardrop of pure hatred she already knew she didn't like him but now she was definitely sure she hated him she was so furious with him for what she assumed he had done that wrath had set in she jumps off the couch runs back to the room door opening it and she looks at him and she says I did it I admit it and he looks at her and he saids I forgive you it's okay because I cheated too last night at first I thought I was dreaming until I realized I was smiling and I wish I could say I regret it but I don't it was just like Lazarus Rising again I once again feel alive and as much as I love you all you do is kill my vibe I beg you to make love to me and for years you denied me yes I am a man of the cloth but just like you I'm only human his wife falls to her knees and began to cry wanting so badly to speak but words just wouldn't come out and he says to her oh you're speechless you're crying; now you have feelings now you have emotions when did all of this set in she looked up at him and raised her hands to the sky and she said I've never
