Chapter 20: The Man

I was cuddling with Corbyn when I had the urge to use the bath room.

I stood up, "I'll be back, gotta use the bathroom." I walked to the bathroom but Corbyn spoke up.

"The bathroom here doesn't work, but there's one in the building across the street." He told me.

I nodded and walked outside. I was about to walk into the building, but I heard a tiny bark.

I went behind the building and found the cutest puppy ever. He was small and tiny, looked like he hadn't been bathed in forever.

I picked him up, he cuddled into me and I smiled.

Behind me in the woods I heard a large growl, I looked and saw nothing. But I know what I heard.

I looked down and the puppy started to growl loudly too. It had bright red eyes. When I realized what was going on I couldn't do anything. The puppy had bite me, causing me to see black dots. I fell to the floor with a loud thump.

-Some Time later-

I slowly woke up, my head was pounding, my legs ached like I had just run a marathon. My chest felt like a force was being shoved on it.

I opened my eyes. I was in a dark room sitting at a table. My hands where locked onto a table. The only light in the room was the over head light.

In the darkness I could see a metal door, and a one way see window. It looked like I was in an interrogation room.

I struggled to get out of the chair but the locks wouldn't budge. I sighed, hoe do I get out of here!?

The door clicked, I heard the locks being undone then a large man come in, with two girl behind him.

"Looks like we finally got you" he paused with a laugh, "Your highness."

He stepped into the light, now I could fully make out he who was. He was a tall man, maybe 5ft 10in at least. He was extremely built and had short brown hair.

"Just cut to the chase," I told him through gritting teeth. "What do you want from me? To kill me? Take my power? To hurt me? What?" I tried again to move my hands but it didn't work.

"No, no, not yet." He smirked after he finished his sentence. "We know that you can't beat our army. And you know that is supernatural land. We are more powerful then those humans! We need to control the Earth!"

I growled, "Those decisions of past queens you need to respect. It's for a reason."

He rolled his eyes, "Of course you would defend humans. You grew up believing you where human. You only know what it's like to be human. You don't understand how hard it is that have to hide who you are, even though your more powerful!"

I sighed, "Yes, I have only been a human for most of my life. But I know from my little time being a wolf that of supernaturals take over the Earth. We will destroy ourselves and the Earth."

"Those humans are already driving themselves and the Earth to its doom!" He responded angrily, slamming his hand on the table.

"We don't know that," I told him. "But every past queen has made that decision. So it must be for a reason. The previous queen may not have told me why because of her sudden death. But I know that there's a good reason for it. And as a follower you must support it."

He smirked, "That death was sudden huh?" He began to laugh. Then pulled out a bloody knife.

I gasp when I realized what he had done. Unable to speak. He could kill me if he wanted to. Just like the queen.

"Your silent now." He said, walking over to me and putting the knife to my neck. Holding my face and staring at me.

"Now, order all supernaturals to attack and kill humans. Or else your gonna be," he paused rubbing the knife on my face. "Hurt."

I said nothing besides, "no."

I let my hands light up with green. My eyes stung a little signifiying them turning a different color.

I used my powers to make green weeds grow through the walls and floor, grabbing his legs and arms and holding him in that place. He dropped the knife and it went flying across the room. I walked over to the girl and took there glasses off. They blinked and looked at me confused.

"What happened?" One asked.

I sat them down, "I'll explain in a second. Just let me handle one thing."

I walked over to him and gave him a good punch across the face. "Mind controlling people to support you. Not the best thing to do. I'm sure that's one reason humans take over the Earth." I paused, "Now I'll leave you here to think about what you have done. But remember that I can always beat your ass when I need to." I picked up the knife and walked over to the two girl who backed away.

"No don't worry, you where mind controlled, but your free now. Do you remember who you are?"

They thought for a second then nodded yes.

"Ok," I said. "Stay safe, please don't get into any danger."

They thanked me and showed me the way out. I told them I was the queen of supernaturals and they seemed thrilled.

I took them each home, then went home myself.

But at the house everything was broken or thrown outside
