SuperMoms
She's just alive for her baby, All alone with no one to help, She strives to make all her ends meet. A promise she makes to herself.
They whisper but she can't break, for She's just alive for her baby, She is fighting against all odds, A single mom- she's a hero.
She isn't even a graduate, Homeless, penniless, exhausted, She's just alive for her baby, She will do what she got to do!
Nine-to-five jobs, changing diapers Feeding time-to-time, she's struggling, But her love for him knows no bounds, She's just alive for her baby!
▪ WHAT IS A QUATERN?▪
1. This poem has 16 lines broken up into 4 quatrains (or 4-line stanzas).
2. Each line is comprised of eight syllables.
3. The first line is the refrain. In the second stanza, the refrain appears in the second line; in the third stanza, the third line; in the fourth stanza, the fourth (and final) line.
4. There are no rules for rhyming or iambics.
