Laurance sat up in a grassy field at sunset. He had a big headache and his chest stung so bad. He felt like he had been shot.

He had no idea where he was. He didn't remember why he was there or what he did before he got there.

"You won't remember anything until you figure it out." A faintly familiar voice said in his head.

He didn't remember anything that happened. He just remembered being in a dark place, talking to the voice in his head. Besides that, he only remembered one thing, a name that confused Laurance to no end. Garroth.

He didn't know who this was. But he seemed to be important.

Laurance stood up and looked around. He noticed a knife laying on the ground. He bent down and picked it up.

His brain seemed to disconnect from his body as he watched a scene unfold.

Laurance saw himself grab the exact same knife from infront of a run down shed. Then he ran towards some figures running in the dark. He looked over his shoulder and watched a police officer cock a gun. The flashback ended.

Laurance looked at the knife in his hands. "So you fit into this puzzle?"

He ran back to the road. After pondering for a minute, he decided to follow it. He recalled a city connected to the road, so he headed that way. As soon as he got there, he was going to figure out everything.

Okay, so this is the real ending to the story. I really do hope you guys enjoyed reading the book as much as I did writing it. The next book will be a little calmer but there will still be some adventure to it, as you can tell.

I'm so excited for so many things to happen in the next book. It's going to be so cool and amazing to write!

It's been quite the journey with this, and I can't wait to start Heartfelt! The first chapter is usually the hardest to come up with, so it might be a while before it comes out!
