Akanes pov

I got in the carriage and i told them to go to that memorial place. I need to see if they are being real. I wrapped up warm and looked out the window as the carriage began to go. In a way I want the music box. I loved her. Shira left me the music box. She said to pass it onto who she thinks should have it.

I'm not going to do that. That music box holds something magical. It can make you see your future. Good or bad. I've been waiting forever to get my hands on this, I felt almost sad? I want her back. I didn't care about Kioshi, I married her because she was good looking. I needed a new boy to be the heir. Masaru was the oldest 'son' I had. I would never give it to him and now he can never get my crown.

The carriage was a smooth ride and I put my head back, closing my eyes. I would never give it to any of those four kids. They weren't mine. I don't know where my kids are, I can't remember what they look like, I don't know how old they are, I....I don't even know their names.....

I gave up everything I had to be with Shira. I tried so hard. I remember being 16 and Endeavor was already crowned king of the Phoenix kingdom. Mitsuki refused to be queen, she was still free, my mother and father were dying. They were powerful rulers but the Bakugou Kingdom was always number one.

I met Shira and she was a poor woman but I felt the love in her eyes. She genuinely loved me and I loved her back, the products of our love was our children and I don't know who they are. She showed me a music box that has been passed through her generation. The handmade carvings were like everything you've never seen. The wood was so detailed from the scales on the wood dragon to the small warriors.

It played this music.... it was 7 beats, slow and beautiful. They were almost heart beats with this soft husky whisp of a voice that sung over the top of the music. It blended well. It was our song. The box use to hide something inside. We didn't know how to open the little compartment. It was impossible. It was something that's always bothered me.

I felt the carriage come to a stop and the door opened. I stepped out and the cold dark night hit me. We were in front of the funeral place. It had a evil feeling. My bodyguard came with me into the shop. The door creeped open and it was dark inside, except a few candles in the corners. I looked around and put my chest out
"I have come to pick up something!" I bellow out. I saw something in the corner, a young boy drifted behind the desk
"How may I help?" His voice was deep, black hair slicked back and a red choker thing around his neck. I walked up to the scary counter and put both my fists on the board.
"I have come here to collect a music box young boy!" I say as loudly as possible
"I have a name, Tokoyami Fumakagi at your service" he said as he walked behind into the separate bit where they keep the dead people awaiting to be buried.

"Do you know who I am?" I say cockily
"King Akane the 3rd your highness" he came out with the music box
"You think your clever?"
"No in fact I don't, I just don't bother to interact properly with the people who have the mind capacity of someone with potential for so much yet use so little of it" he said, he's obviously depressed
"You loss me at bother, now give that to me" I snatch the box off him and he raised his eyebrows.

"Sign here, here and here" he pointed to a paper which was connected to Shiras will.
"I'm the king! I don't need to do this bullshit" I push the papers away and hold the box up so I could see it. All this time.
"It's part of our policy sir" he said boredom covering his whole face.
"Agrrrr" I scribble my signature and walk out of that dastardly place holding my box. I got into the carriage and we were off in a hurry back to the castle. Finally... I have you.
