A Mysterious Button

A scream woke us up. I woke up immediately, and everyone else woke up right after me. Everyone except Abby. Abby was missing. Wilona started shouting something from a different language. "¡No! ¡Los malos tienen a Abby! ¡No! ¡No!" she shouted, "¡No! Abby! ¡No te preocupes bebé, ya voy!"

"Wilona! What are you saying?" Gabe asked curiously. But he was definitely concerned. "No time. We have to get going immediately. Abby's in trouble." Wilona replied. This went from 0 to 100. Wilona grabbed Hudson and strapped him on her back and lowered the ladder while me and Gabe got our stuff. We grabbed our backpacks and climbed down the ladder quickly. My question is, how messed up is Hudson's mind going to be when he gets older?

We ran through the forest for what felt like days, but was probably more like an hour and a half. A big temple loomed above us. The ironic thing was there was a sign on it that said 'KOOSTKO'S SECRET LAIR. DON'T ENTER!'

"Well, that's not obvious at all" I heard Gabe mumble sarcastically. There were no doors or windows, only a button. Wilona walked up to press it, when I noticed something. A warning sign, up in the treetops, but I couldn't make out what it said. "Wait!" I cried, "Wilona! Don't!" But it was too late.

Wilona had pressed the button.
