I screamed. When I whipped around I saw that Gabe was somehow remaining calm. I whipped back around and I saw a waterfall. I screamed again. As we tumbled down the waterfall, Gabe still was staying calm. Then it occurred to me: What if he's dead??
I was about to turn around and make sure he was alive when the cold water splashed my face. I sunk under and couldn't swim back up. The pain from the water was too much.
