Dear Departed

75 4 15

Towering upon these big building lies-

Her little house- a knit of her little ties.

Rough or smooth, her wrinkles feel so cold.

Oh dear departed, my little soul!

Worry not for the world's toll!

Kiss me a good-night again so sweet, not this good-bye -- your first lie,

Ivory like smile, imbued in happiness, never did you leave such a cold sigh.

Never ending lists of my babyish cribs,

Days you burnt out, your nights breezed listening to my childish jibs.

Never ending stories yet lovingly poured from your elderly nib,

Evergreen was our promise, I believed after my days with my bib,.

Soft and sound, your hands would always end my every day,

Sailing away in vast ocean, how will I be, alone, by the bay?

Love, you called explaining right and wrongs,

Ignore, you said explaining illogical societal songs.

Kites of happiness and love, you used to fly,

Even entwined by sorrows, you would always still try.

Called out to none, but called for all the nearby oles,

Oh dear departed, my little soul!

Never you shuddered, never you flustered,

Forgiving and forgetting, for they left you alone there,

Enamoring them in love, you always stood like it was all fair,

Today, they might weep far away, but dear departed, you left me chilled,

Throw kindness like confetti, I'll follow your spill,

I promise to color the world with its frill.
