Chapter 4: new relationships and surprises

I wanted to make today different and hang out with all of the boys today but it would be hard if Ashton and Luke have brake and lunch detention, my phone buzzed it was Michael

be leaving at 8:20"

I checked my alarm clock it was only 7:00 so I had plenty of time but I still had to get dressed, don't forget my PE kit and get breakfast.

Today it was school uniform and very little make up, I mean by little make up is some foundation and light brown eye shadow.

So I got dressed then putted on my very little make up and ran down stairs but Ashton wasn't down stairs so I went back up to his room and nocked on the door and there was a slight come in and I saw Ashton on his bed in a ball.

Ash are you ok?

Yeah he replied I just don't want to go to school.

I shook him side to side saying Come on big bro.

He sat up and relised the time and we both ran down stairs and it was now 8:10 and we still haven't had breakfast and our mum came out with vegemite on toast and totally forgot about Michael and I looked at my phone and I had two missed calls I was going to get in a bit of trouble with him but I still didn't want to tell Ashton about us.

I didn't eat every bit of toast but when I tried leave but I got a lot of questions but I still got out in time that's when Ashton came out and the one question I never got asked by them then he comes out with it.

What are you doing Skylar? You are getting the car?

I stumbled mmm... I'm getting the bus, is that OK?

Yeah sure he gave me a light smile. And that made me happy so I smiled back at him and he went back in the house I think he might stay home I said to myself in my head.

I phoned Michael I'm thankful that he answered.

"Where are you Skylar?"

"Well hi Michael I'm on the way to the bus stop are you still there?"

"Yeah I'm waiting for you you better Hurry a bus is due!

We hung up and I made my way to the bus stop and he was there I was lucky because when I got there a bus was coming down the road I got on the bus with Michael, Calum and Luke we all sat on the top of the bus and sat together me and Michael together and Calum and Luke in front of us and after two stops after Taylor got on and Calum followed her and sat next to her.

Luke's mouth dropped and turned to me like I was supposed to do something I just shrugged my shoulders I turned to Michael and held his hand but he looked sad.

Are you alright Michael? I whispered to him.

Yeah Skylar I'm fine and he turned to Calum and Taylor and whispered to me well they two are getting on.
