Master of The Games- All bets are on

Chapter 4- Beginning of the end

All five of us looked at each other confused for a bare second, before a loud noise echoed through the room. The walls started moving . Tubes came out of them at a high level. four pieces of the floor collapsed, before coming back up, each one of them carrying a box

"What the hell is going on?" Ben furiously asked

"Do we look like we have any damn idea?" Kim answered sarcastically

"You know what? I was put in here to kill you. So i will" Liam said

"Wait what?"

"You heard it. I was put here. They want me to kill...."

An arrow flew right through his back as he was speaking and he fell to the ground. Another noise started and water came flooding through the tubes above us

"They're gonna drown us" Amira yelled

"Not us. Three of us"

"So this is what it all goes down to" i finally spoke

They turned around and faced me, surprised as they didn't even notice i was there. And maybe they didn't. Maybe i had just ruined my chance to live.

"We used to be all on one side. Then we're put here and we kill each other"

"And what do you suggest, smartypants?" Ben asked

"We're all members of the resistance. So let's fucking resist!"

"Look!" Amira yelled. She was pointing at the screen

Water Level 5%

I looked at my feet and noticed water was almost up to my knees

"Great!" Ben spat

"Shut the fuck up! None of us wanted to be here. They just want 3 of us dead and the other brainwashed in their government! The only way to stop them, the only way to survive is together. The end begins today. The end begins now. Andromeda's days are being counted and they're almost down to 0! We are no longer the resistance. We are the rebellion! Who's with me?"

I raised my hand in the air

Silence. Nothing but complete silence

An arrow shot from behind me as well, but i was waiting for it. I turned around and caught it, then turned back to the other three contestants

"I am" Amira shouted and raised her hand

"So am I" added Kim

"Ben?" i asked

"No fucking way!" he spat and turned back

"As you wish, but you do realise this is an alliance against you, right?" Kim said

"It's not. The resistance is the only family we have left. If he doesn't want to join the rebellion, then so be it. But we'll get him out of here"

I turned around to face him, and suddenly felt lightweight. The water has raised above my level and i was now floating

"Now what do we do?"

 "I don't know" i answered

"What do you mean you don't know?"

"Let me think"

I took a deep breath in

"Okay. Um, is anyone in here good at maths? "

"I am" Ben said

"Okay. Can you estimate how long will it be until the water fills the room?"

"Well, given the approximate height of..."
