After Wes left, a police car parked in front of the mini-mart, revealing that Officer Frances, and Detective Trent have arrived. After parking, the two got out, and noticed the abandoned alleyway next to them.
"This appears to be one of the crime scenes," Frances said. "We better investigate," Trent explained. "There's no telling what happened here." As they got closer to the alleyway, they found a dozen clues. One was a trail of footprints leading, out, and into the alleyway, a second was the pulled off hand from the person who died, and the third was the pentagram on the brick wall. Detective Trent pulled out three bags, and collected burning ash from the footprints.
Once the ash was picked up, Detective Trent took a photo of the pentagram, and also grabbed the hand that was disembodied hand that was lying on the ground covered in blood. Detective Trent then placed the hand in another bag, and placed them in his trench coat pocket. "Who ever did this, sure is crafty," Trent explained.
"That, and the one responsible also got away after getting rid of the person who had that arm," Frances said. "Right next to a mini-mart no doubt." "Let's see if we can get any information out of the store clerk that works there," Trent explained. "She might know something about this." Detective Trent, and Officer Frances left the alleyway, taking the clues with them, and entered the mini-mart, where the store clerk was placing the money given to her by the one who helped her out.
The clerk noticed the two entering, and saw the detective, and police officer in front of her. "Good evening," the clerk said. "How can I help you, both?" "We're looking for a killer," Trent explained. "We gathered some clues outside of the building, and we think you might give us any leads." "Have you seen anyone dangerous around here?" Frances asked. "No, the only criminal that ever comes to this store, was that one biker who threatens me to give him cash," the clerk answered. "Did anyone else come here, when you last saw him?" Trent asked. "Well there was this one person who kind of saved me from him," the clerk answered. Officer Frances pulled out a notepad, and pen, just as the clerk explained, and placed them both on the counter.
"Ma'am, can you tell us more about this person?" Trent asked. "Well he was wearing black clothing which were a t-shirt, hoodie-jacket, jeans, boots, and he had white hair," the clerk answered. Officer Frances wrote everything down, as she was talking. "He then came back, and gave me $1,500.00 for something, then left," the clerk explained. "Not sure where, but apparently he was in a hurry." "Don't worry ma'am, we got all the information we need," Trent said. "Officer, let's get going." "Yes, Detective," Frances said, and they both left the mini-mart. "Let's dust this hand we found, back at the station."
