After eating only half of the food at the diner, Wes, and Audrey left their childhood diner, and went to the park, and walked to the highest hill, and climbed it. The couple arrived to the top, and laid on the grass.
"Ah, didn't think the grass would be this warm after it rained a couple of 6 hours ago," Wes said. "Well, you remembered that the sun is capable of drying grass more than growing it," Audrey explained. "I guess that's fair," Wes agreed. "So, why are we here exactly?" "Remember when we were still alive, and we use to do cloud watching, and bird watching?" Audrey asked. "Oh yeah, those are the only outside activities I could do when I leave my uncle's house," Wes answered.
"Yeah, like me, you were a complete square before Reggie got you involved in killing," Audrey agreed. "A complete softy. But soft, or hard, I still love you." Wes blushed after hearing that. "Well other than the fresh air, the clouds look entirely beautiful," Wes commented. "Want to see where they look even better?" Audrey asked, and got up.
"I guess," Wes answered. "What did you have in mind?" "Just hang on tight, after wrapping your arms around me," Audrey explained. "Okay," Wes explained, and got up. Then as the two held on to each other, Audrey flapped her wings again, and lifted both herself, and Wes off the ground, and back into the sky. After arriving to where the clouds are, Audrey stopped, and then created a cloud capable for sitting on, because she knew her boyfriend didn't have wings like she did, and placed them both there.
"Didn't think a cloud could feel more comfortable than grass," Wes said. "Well Spring has sprung this time of year," Audrey explained. "Which is way better then a bunch of blood puddles." "I know," Wes said. "I have just been through so much pain, that only the death of a bunch of thieves could make me happy. As it turns out I was wrong." "I know you've been through so much, and I'm glad you stopped killing, but it is far too late to stop now." "Why?" Wes asked. "We need to help you redeem your trust to God," Audrey answered. "And the only way of doing that is to defeat the ones who have tricked you." "I will do it," Wes explained. "I don't care what it takes, they will suffer for tricking me." "You won't have to do it alone, Wes," Audrey said. "We'll help you."
"We?" Wes asked. "Yeah, you, me, Emanuel, and probably Detective Trent if he's willing to," Audrey answered. "I'm not sure about them, Audrey," Wes said. "They might keep me tied up for our entire trip." "They just helped you from making a huge mistake," Audrey explained. "Just try, and give them a chance for me, okay?" "Okay, but don't tell them to tie me up," Wes said. "I'll make sure of that," Audrey explained. "Emanuel always listens to me. Oh one more thing before we head back down." "What?" Wes asked. Audrey then answered by kissing Wes in the lips once again. Wes kissed back, while also wrapping his arms around her.
