Chapter 36: Lover's Rejoined.

Emanuel, and Detective Trent walked out of the office after chatting, and noticed that Audrey, and Wes were both kissing near the cell where the chairs were across from, and got closer to the loving couple.

"Well looks like everything worked out for him in the end," Trent said. "He got his revenge, quit his job, and even got the girl of his life back." "Yes, but we still have a lot of other stuff to fix," Emanuel explained. "After dying, both Wes, and Audrey didn't have a future together. That means we need to make sure they do. We need to have them both finish High School, get them both into college, have them finish that, and hopefully they can both get married afterwards."

"I'll take them both to the High School they went to when they were alive, and ask the Principal if they have any missed out tests after dying," Trent explained. "As for the college thing, I'm sure the Internet can fix with that. Hey, before I leave, why was the Devil wanting Mr. Grimes to murder all those criminals in the first place?"

"It was only to help him gain strength, before he could face Mr. Valentino," Emanuel explained. "But now that he's strong enough, I believe he might help us in getting revenge on him now." "Alright then, I better get going," Trent said, and grabbed his trench coat. "I have the weekend off, but you can't take reaper boy to where ever you live, and we'll meet each other again on Monday." "That sounds like a good idea," Emanuel explained, and Detective Trent grabbed his stuff, and left.

Emanuel then noticed the two still kissing, and decided to leave a note to Audrey before taking his leave as well. So, Emanuel grabbed a piece of paper, and a pen from Detective Trent's desk, and began writing the note. "Dear, Audrey," Emanuel said, as he wrote. "When you are done doing whatever with Wes, be sure to come back with him to my home in Africa. From Emanuel." The witch doctor then left the letter on the counter of the Detective's desk, and then stepped outside, summoned his witch doctors horse, and then road off back to Africa. Finally after kissing, Wes, and Audrey sat talking to each other. "So is it true that you started working for God, and Jesus Christ after you died?" Wes asked. "Well I did become an angel," Audrey answered.

The two then continued their chat, as they got up, and left the cell. "Maybe you should join in the job as well," Audrey said. "I don't think that would be a good idea, considering all the stuff I've done," Wes explained. "God forgives everyone no matter what they do," Audrey said. "Now let's go, and get something to eat. You must be starving after 2 years of being dead." "Actually, I'm not, because I think they stabbed my stomach," Wes explained. Audrey giggled, and then placed her hand on the lower part of Wes's torso healing the stomach from the inside. "You're welcome," Audrey said, and kissed him again.
