Chapter 24: The Ultimate Ransom Part 04.

The gunslinger, and the detective pulled up their vehicles in front of the abandoned tower, and parked next to the Grave Master's haunted automobile. Rage noticed the gunslinger, and got pissed about it.

"They brought the gunslinger with them," Rage said. "Those bastards didn't even listen to my warning." Rage then went over to the elevator control box, and stabbed it using his claws disabling it. "Well, looks like he'll have to take the stairs," Rage commented. Back outside, Ject busted down the door with a kick, and then entered. Then after going towards the elevator, Ject pressed a button, but it wouldn't open. "Well looks like I'm taking the hard way," Ject said.

Ject then tried taking a step up, but crossbows came out from the top of the staircase, and aimed at him. Luckily the gunslinger ducked before they could hit him. "Well that was unexpected," Ject commented, and continued up the stairs. Ject then stepped on another faulty step, and the floorboard opened revealing a tank of piranha's.

"These stairs is entirely booby trapped," Ject said. "Better try, and dodge every trap they set, while my head is still on me." The gunslinger then continued up the stairs, dodging all the traps. The gunslinger floated avoiding the mine trap, by shooting it, causing an explosion, avoided the swinging axes, by removing them, and placing them on the wall. Rage was watching avoid the traps, as he got closer, and closer to the top. "F***, he got passed everything," Rage said. "And he's almost up here."

"Perhaps, I can assist in that matter," Kyle said, and pulled out a scroll. "From the treacherous forest where we first joined, I summon the most dangerous monster known to mankind. Fright Beast." After using the scroll, the forest painting appeared, and Fright Beast came out. "Holy mother of other guy," Wes said. "That is a huge son of a bitch," Rage commented. "Fright Beast, end the life of our purple haired uninvited guest," Kyle commanded. Fright Beast nodded, and ran down the stairs towards the gunslinger. Rage watched as the monster used his vines to tie the Blood Dragon up, and dragged him back to the room where the others were. "Brainless creation," Kyle commented. "You're suppose to take him up out, not up here with us."

"Doesn't matter," Rage said. "We can still win today." Rage then dug into the vine wrapped around the gunslinger, and pulled out his laser pistol. "Looks like I'll be taking this, and breaking it, after Valentino's gone," Rage said. Fright Beast then placed the gunslinger next to the child in the chair. "Don't think you've won just yet," Ject said. "I can restore my strength, and break free, once I have a drink from my blood Coke bottle." "Our fight with you is over, dip sh*t," Rage commented. "You lost. And once we're done with Valentino, you and your pigeon are going to end up the same way he, and his kid will."
