Back at the police station, Detective Trent, and Officer Frances were dusting for fingerprints of the clues they found in the alleyway, outside of the mini-mart. Unfortunately, Trent couldn't find fingerprints on the arm.
"I don't see any fingerprints on this arm," Trent said. "Maybe the murderer brushed them off, after leaving." "I highly doubt that," Frances explained. "Any serial killer can cover their tracks," Trent said. "We'll just have to be careful what he tries next." Suddenly the phone rang near Officer Frances desk, allowing her to go over there, and pick it up, and answer it. "Hello," Frances said. "Saint Paul police, this is Officer Julie Frances." Detective Trent placed the duster down.
"I see," Frances said. "We'll be right there." After hanging up, Officer Frances turned towards the detective. "That was the bank president," Frances explained. "He said, that there was a murder outside of the bank, that occurred hours ago." "Well, it's 6:00 A.M., so we better hurry, before the sun comes up," Trent said, grabbing his trench coat.
As a half hour passed, Detective Trent, and Officer Frances arrived at the bank where the incident happened. After parking the car, Detective Trent, and Officer Frances got out, and met with the bank president. "Alright, tell me where the scene of the crime is," Trent explained. "It's on the roof of the building next to the bank," the president said. "Not sure who's responsible for these murder's, but at least they didn't steal from us." "Criminal's are bad no matter what they do," Frances said.
"Officer come with me," Trent said. "We'll need to take the fire escape in order to get up to the roof." "As you wish, Detective," Frances agreed, and followed Detective Trent into the building. Then once they got up to the first floor, the detective, and cop used the fire escape to get to the top of the building, and noticed the helicopter wreckage. "My god," Frances said. "And we just got the clues from the alleyway." Detective Trent got closer to the wreckage to gather more clues. "The victims appeared to be bank robbers, trying to make a withdraw that night," Trent explained, after noticing the ski masks. "The killer must have taken them off the robbers, after killing them, and probably did away with disposing of the bodies once the explosion occurred."
Officer Frances took notes of what the detective was saying. "So, how do you think the killer made an explosion like that?" Frances asked. "Not sure, but whoever it was, he, or she had a pretty cleaver trap, after leaving their pentagram mark below us," Trent answered. "Leaving us with a bit more clues." As Detective Trent grabbed the ski masks from the wreckage, Officer Frances took a picture of the pentagram on the ground. "Let's get these clues back to your office," Frances said. "They might be useful." "The second set of clues," Trent explained. "I'll be after the killer soon." The two then left the ceiling.
