Kade

"Isn't she something? It's just like her to rush off quickly leaving her chosen with more questions than answers," I said flippantly. Before lowering my tone seductively and looking at Lyra, "I prefer a much more hands on approach."

Shooting a wink in her direction before turning towards Asher. "Now wolf, we have much to discuss and a ritual to complete. Where to begin?" I said matter of factly, enjoying the heightened emotions, radiating off these two in waves.

The wolf spoke first, "Right... so the Moon Goddess, the patron of my people is definitely real. As are you, I guess," he said, gesturing in my direction, "But what I haven't put together is what you want with Ly."

"Good, another quick study, I see. Wellwolf, a couple things. One: you may address me as Akkadian, or Kade if you prefer. Two: Her name is Lyra. I decreed it myself, before her birth. And thirdly; everything of course." I stated enjoying the look of his face, especially that delicious vein bulging in his neck.

Lyra, spoke then interrupting our grandstanding, "Kade, I think we should take this in steps. If we all have to work together, let's not start with the possessive crap." She looked back and forth between us both cautiously, her voice even.

I pouted in her direction playfully, "Fine, I can play nice. For now... at least. So first things first, how to defeat daddy wolfs nefarious plans. Your wolf boy needs to challenge him for Alpha and win. Severing Dmitri's ties from the pack; preferably with death. Lyra, you need to practice shifting and master my gift. I'm sure you will need to defend yourself, before this is all over."

The wolf spoke again, "I have a name Kade, its Asher for the record. Lyra has only changed into her wolf once before; she hasn't attempted any other forms yet; and what gift are you talking about?" He seemed to measure his words, but I could sense the waves of authority he was putting into the air.

"You can ease off of the Alpha male vibes anytime, Asher," I said acidly, "I'm a God, not a shifter in your pack. Save that machismo for your challenge, right now it's just distracting."

Lyra stepped forward between us, and my thoughts turned sharply to feeding my own desire. I could want for the ritual to commence. Right now, I had to teach this wolf his place.

"Asher," her voice was soft, "Kade says he's bound to protect me and my real Mother gave her life to seal that bond. He told me... I'm a skinwalker." She eyed him cautiously.

I took delight in seeing his features scrunch up as he processed her words.

"Correct, it's a rare gift that I've given my Champions in the past; and which I think could be extremely useful, in the days to come. Now shall we work together towards our common goal; or did my cousin choose poorly?" I said, looking past Lyra, at him questioningly. I was becoming bored with all this talking and wanted to move on.

"But that's not possible..." the wolf stammered, his voice shocked.

"I see, you require a demonstration." I said offhandedly, and grinned widely. I knew the perfect form to choose for this little demonstration. Let's see if I can ruffle his fur a bit.

I snapped my fingers, using my magic to undressing us all. I grinned at Lyra's form before saying, "Now don't pass out this time and leave me alone with this guy." I said chuckling.

I concentrated on my form; and felt the waves of my magic ripple through my body as I willed the change. I shifted into the form in my minds eye. I could hear Lyra gasp, and felt the ripple crossing my flesh. When I opened my eyes, the look on the wolfs face was perfection. His jaw hung agape in disbelief.
