PROLOGUE

Prologue

The dark skies up above with their accessories that so called moon and stars. Matching with the flow of the cold wind that sent shivers in my arms.

I am walking all alone in our small community called "Baranggay San Vicente". As I slowly raised my wrist to see what's the time.

I froze.

FUCK! It's 9:57 in the evening! I need to hurry before the curfew. The Curfew starts at 10:00 pm and I'm still here walking like a damn tortoise!!

"I need to hurry" I said to myself. I was literally half walking and half running. My Feet hurts because of the wedge heels I wore today.

I'm a newbie here. Pero alam ko na agad ang pasikot-sikot. The streets and everything.

I'm from my friend's birthday party. Well, if may party na ganoon, it usually starts like 4pm and ends like sometimes 1 or 3 am na. Well, yun yung experience ko sa UK.

But here is different, there's Curfew and Liqour Ban.

Eh sino ba namang hindi masisiyahan? Madaming Alak, Madaming Kasiyahan, Madaming Kantahan at Sayawan, and of course BOYS!

The name of my friend is Josh, well he's a rich gay. Madami syang kilalang strippers. Siguro we became friends because we have the same interests. Like, duh? BOYS!

Damn! Strippers with 6 pack abs. With some water dripping on their chest! Ugh! Damn. But di ko na yun naabutan. My Nanay won't allow me to go to parties. Well before it's a YES but now it's a NO. because of a freakin Curfew here in San Vicente. And that caused my pag-takas.

Tumakas lang ako. It's really easy to escape. Im an expert. But in my case right now? My nanay would kill me ruthlessly!

Until, I reached my goal! To be in the house without getting caught by some ugly human beings that are roaming around every night.

I got my key card. And Yes! We use key cards, our house is not just a house. But I can say that it's a simple mansion with modern designs and electronics. And I can say that here in San Vicente. We are only the ones who are living a prestigious life.

I tapped the keycard and then the door beeped well that means it's open now. I opened the door and l got inside carefully na sana hindi ako marinig nila nanay. I raised my wrist again to check the time.

Oh! Perfect Timing! It's 10:00 pm. I should go to my room and get ready to sleep.

I'm slowly walking going to the staircase. Hindi pa ako nakakaapak sa stairs. FUCK!

"Arf! Arf! Arf!" Shit! That freakin dog of my niece really piss me off! I need to hurry! Gosh!

I have no choice but to run! Pag maingay kasi tong aso ng pamangkin ko na si Silver, my nanay would go down and check on him if he's okay. Fuck!

I removed my wedge heels so I can run as silent as I can. And fast at the same time before I get caught.

Finally, I opened the door of my room and I entered and closed the door. Gosh! That was harder than I thought! Running silently? Psh atleast I'm an expert now.

I sighed.

Kumuha ako ng cotton pad at make-up remover and I faced my vanity mirror.

While I'm taking my make up off, I heard my Nanay.

"Silver! Quiet!" She's hushing the dog, I guess.

Sobrang tahimik na ng San Vicente ngayon compared before. There are rumors about snatchers going on. I don't easily get carried away by rumors, pero kung may magpapatunay na it's Legit. Well, I'm gonna lock myself up in my room.

But no one can stop me going to parties.

As I throw the used cotton pad on the trash can. The door opened quickly and that made me scared and I stood up fast and faced her.

She's wearing her nightwear habang hawak hawak niya ang dalawang piraso ng cucumbers.

"N-nanay, u-uhm, You're checking on m-me?" I asked. I can almost hear my heart racing.

Fuck! Baka malaman nya! Well, it's obvious! Hindi pa ako nakabihis pambahay! Shit. I'm still wearing my party outfit!

She looked at me from head to toe. Gosh!

"Ba't ganyan yung suot mo?" She asked me with her curious face.

Damn! I'm dead.

"U-uh. Well, Nanay, you know naman po na I'm really a famous in Instagram, I-im just taking some photos to post!" I answered with a smile on my face to hide the nervousness that I'm feeling right now.

She tilted her head.

"Anong fotos?! Ganitong oras ka pa talaga nag pepektur?" Sigaw nyang sabi.

I don't know what to do! Kaya napa ngisi nalang ako.

I bet she knows that I'm lying. I'm famous at Instagram. I have hundred thousands of followers. I always take pictures but I do it every morning. So I guess, she knows that I'm lying. Fuck!

"Alam kong nag paparteh ka iha! Yung weds hels mo naiwan sa labas!" Wika nya sabay tapon sa wedge heels ko sa kwarto.

Kinuha ko ito at inilagay sa shoes rack ko. I'm freakin shaking while I'm placing it. Minsan lang ako kabado at pinapagalitan.

"Mabuti at hindi ka umabot sa kerpyu! Naku! Mabuti at hindi ka nahuli ng mga tanod!" Sabi nya habang itinuturo ang kamay nya saakin.

Duh? Again, I'm an expert. But I can't say that in front of her, I should respect her.

Kahit ganito ako, Atleast I know how to respect the elders! But the problem with me is I don't know how to obey them.

But never mind!

"Oh! Nanay! You mean those Ugly human beings that are roaming every night?" I answered with a laugh.

Yung mga tanod ang tinutukoy ko, Duh? They are really scary looking. Not being a judgemental. But, I'm just stating the fact.

She looked at me with a pandidiri face.

"Anong agle agle yuman beeng ka dyan? Matulog ka na! Para gumanda ka kahet konti!" Galit nyang sabi sabay sirado ng pintuan.

What did she say? Matulog para gumanda kahit konti?.

Duh? I'm beautiful enough! Ako nga yung Ms. Junior College sa school namin before! No one should ever mess with this kind of beauty!

My face is very unique to the point that No one can copy my face!

Hindi lang beauty ang mayroon ako. Brains and creativity? I have THAT. I'm a graduate of Bachelor's in Fashion Design. I studied at London College of Contemporary Arts. In malamang, United Kingdom!

There is no other brain and beauty than Charisse Clodette Granada.

Well, I need to get a Beauty Rest first.
