"Charisse!"

Bumungad saakin ang mukha ng relatives namin pag apak ko sa loob ng bahay.

Ate Carol said our cousins always go here every fiesta.

I ran towards them.

"Miyesha!" I hugged my favorite cousin tightly.

"It's been 10 years" She said.

She's my favorite cousin. I have 4 all girl cousins. We don't have any boy cousin in Nanay's Side. I love her because she is lowkey unlike her siblings.

Hinarap niya ako.

"You look... different now" she looked at me from head to toe at bumalik ang tingin niya saakin.

I just gave her a smile.

Puro lang kasi kami video calls for the past 10 years.

"So, ano? Display lang kami dito?" I heard Archley.

"Nag UK lang ah?" I also heard Marinelle.

Nilingon ko sila and gave them a smile. I walked towards them and hugged them one by one. I also love and missed them.

I stopped at my eldest cousin.

"Ate Rhai" I also hugged her.

She's our eldest cousin. When we were a child. Sya ang parating nandyan kung wala si Ate Carol. I love her cause she knows how to handle everyone's attittude.

Hinarap ko sya.

"How's Serie?"

"She's fine. She survived" I saw her tears rolling down her cheeks.

I hugged her.

Ate Rhai has a daughter. Serie.

She has the same age as Cab. 15. But unfortunately, Serie has Leukemia. But based on Ate Rhai, she survived.

"That's great big news!" I tried to cheer her up. She just nodded and stopped crying.

"Where is she now?"

"She's at the house, ayaw ko siyang ma-stress. It's better to rest first"

Tumango naman ako, kung sa bagay.

Hinarap ko muli sila. "Did you guys eat na?" I asked them.

Tumango naman sila.

"Where's Tita Sab?"

"Mom is at the Car. May kinuha." Marinelle said.

Tita Sab is Nanay's Sister.

"And.... Tito Tony?"

"Dad is working, hindi siya makakapunta." Archley said.

Si Tito Tony naman ay asawa ni Tita Sab. Tito Tony is an Aerospace Engineer, Kaya palaging busy. While Tita Sab is a College Professor.

I decided to go to the kitchen kung nandoon ba si Nanay.

"Charisse, tapos na ba yung padyent?" I saw Nanay eating the pizza I bought at the breakfast table.

I nodded at her question. Umupo ako sa tabi niya at nilingon ko siya.

"N-nanay, I have a question" napatigil siya sa pagkain ng Pizza at nilingon ako.

"Ano naman? Parteh? Naku wag na----"

Umiling kaagad ako.

I sighed before answering her. "About A-Ahldryx"
