[ Chapter Five ]

I WAS IN MY BEDROOM, completing some paperwork so that I could graduate. I sighed and reviewed the information before going to the next page. I widened my eyes at the paper and groaned before picking up my pen once more.

"We're going to Dylan's party, want to come with us?" I heard Sarah ask as she opened my bedroom door and peeked her head in

"I thought you guys were all grounded." I reminded her as I raised my head to look at her with an arched eyebrow

"We are, we're still gonna go though." Sarah informed me making me sigh and nod my head as I went to stand up from my seat

"As long as you don't get into any trouble there. Don't get caught, oh and Mike told me earlier this week so I got him a present as well." I told my sister while I walked towards my closet and opened the door, grabbing the present

"We won't get in trouble. I'll make sure to give the present to Dylan. Don't tell Dad we're leaving, bye!" Sarah bid me a bye quietly after she left with the present I handed her

"Run, Billy, run!" I heard somebody yell making my head snap up from desk since I had fallen asleep

I sat on my seat hazily as my ears adjusted to people screaming before my eyes widened. I stood up and rushed towards my window, looking down at the street. I saw people running out of Dylan's party in terror making me take a deep breath.

"Kids?" I could hear Dad ask loudly from downstairs making me groan as I walked towards my bedroom door

"Dad, the kids aren't here." I revealed to Dad as soon as I walked towards the stairs and leaned on the railing with a shake of my head

I rushed behind Dad and the college football team towards Dylan's house, passing the guests who continued to scream their heads off. I panted as we finally made inside the house and headed to the back. I froze in my tracks when I saw my younger siblings scattered all around the garden.

Kyle and Nigel stood on top of the tables, the former was throwing food at the guests while the latter was hosing everyone with water. I could see Sarah jumping around in the bouncy house but I don't think she noticed me yet. I took a deep breath and walked closer to Dad and the team as people still continued to scream.

"Get my kids. I'll meet you at the house. Ready!" Dad firmly said making me roll my eyes as I walked past them

"Break!" The football team chanted together before they all broke off in different directions, heading for each kid
