Chapter 2:Taylor's Resto

Hannah's POV

When I woke up I felt a hand on my breast. I looked at him but he was still asleep. Bastard I rolled my eyes and smack his hand away then shook him awake.

"Hey, wake up."

He groaned and rolled to the side.

"It's still too early."

"I know and I still have my class at 9. And you, sir have bad guys to catch."

He huffed and I get up and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth. I went to the kitchen and started to prepare breakfast and made some coffee.

"Good morning."

He greeted me and went to the table to drink his coffee.

"What time are you going to the station?" I asked.

"At 10 but I'll drop you first."

"I have my own car you know." I replied.

"So? I want to take you there myself. We hardly hangout anymore."

He said while purposely pouting. Cute I thought and smiled inwardly. These. These are the things that I love about him. He is so thoughtful and sweet but he is so blind. He doesn't know how he affects me.

"Okay but make sure to pick me up later."

"Of course, I forgot to tell you that I will be treating you later at the newly opened restaurant. Do you have your duty at the hospital?"

"Really? That's new. And no I don't have. Lucky me, they told me to take the day off because it's my post birthday" I said sounding excited.

"That's great 'cause I just got promoted and I am now a detective." He said with a wink.

"Oh wow! That's so great. I am so happy for you Axel!"

I exclaimed happily and hugged him tightly.

"You... are....choking me womaaan." I laughed and let him go.

"Damn, you are more excited than me huh." He said.

"Of course! Why wouldn't I be excited? Duh."

"Hannah it's just a promotion. I am not yet on the top."

"I don't care. Higher position means more money. And it means that I am also getting rich."

I told him jokingly and stuck my tongue out at him. He rolled his eyes at me.

"You are turning me into a cash cow." He said and I laughed at him.

"Yeah, I am only friends with you because of your money." I told him jokingly.

"Yes, because of my money and my body." He replied and smirked at me.

"Son of a bitch."

I said and prepared our food. We ate our breakfast while talking about our work. He is now a detective while I am a nurse and currently taking my medicine proper. I want to be a surgeon someday. An orthopedic surgeon to be exact because I want to tend those athletes who gets injured for I am also once an athlete during my elementary years until college. I go to class during the day and have my duty during the night. While Axel always dreamed to be a Police officer and now he is given much more than what he wants that's why there are many girls who wants to be with him but he said that he is still not ready. As for me, I also dated different guys but they all get jealous from Axel. They thought that we are more than bestfriend that's why we always broke up.

We finished our meal and got ready. We used his big bike and went to my house to get ready. After that we went to school and he dropped me off.

"See you later chicka."

He said while waiting for me to get off.

"See you later cash cow." I told him and laughed.

I gave him his helmet then as I turn around he pinched my butt. I cussed and about to smack his arm but he already sped away.

"I saw that."

A voice said coming from the back and I smiled and immediately turned around to greet the person.

"Lisa you bitch." I said and hugged her.

"Happy birthday girl!" She greeted me and kissed my cheek.

"Thank you, why didn't you come last night?"

"Oh I had my duty you know. Our head nurse wouldn't let me have a leave." She explained.

"She's still a bitch?"

"Tell me about it." She said while rolling her eyes.

We laughed and went inside. Lisa is my classmate at college, we both had nursing as our premed and now we are currently taking our medicine proper, she wants to be a Pediatrician.

"So, what did Axel gave you for your birthday?" She asked with a knowing smile.

"He threw me a party that's all." I replied.

"Hmm. Really?" She said with a smirk and we walked to our separate class.

We bid each other goodbye and told each other to gossip more later. Besides from Axel, Lisa is also one of my bestfriend and I am thankful for her because she is the only one whom I trust with my secret and also with my hook up with Axel.

At exactly 4 pm I received a text from Axel.

Wait for me at the Taylor's Resto. Something came up. See you there.

I waited for a then went to the restaurant and find a seat.

I'm here. Don't make me wait much detective ;)

I texted him and waited. A waiter came and ask for my order. I told him to give me a coffee first because I am still waiting for someone. I looked at the interior of the restaurant and was impressed. My coffee is served and I thank the waiter. I checked for Axel's message but there was none. It's been 15 minutes since his last text, so I waited for him more. Then it became 30 minutes and I am becoming annoyed as I was about to stand up a voice spoke.

"You got stood up." I looked at the man and damn, he is good looking.

"Yeah, obviously." I replied.

"Boyfriend?" He asked.

"No, bestfriend."

"Oh so I suppose I can sit here instead?"

I hesitated but agreed.

"I think so."

He sat in front of me then smiled.

"So what's your name?" He asked me.

"Hannah. How about you?"

"Yuhan. Yuhan Taylor." And he smiled. Oh that smile.

Taylor. Taylor? Then it hit me. I looked at the menu on the side table and there, written on bold letters.

He's the owner of this fucking restaurant.
