Chapter 8: All Rushed Becomes Crushed

There are times that you come to realize that something is not working. Whether you try to make it work but if it ends up not happening, it will end up not happening. Sometimes it's sad, but you gotta let go for the happiness of that person.

That's why I am letting him go.

"Hello." I greet him as he settles in my car.

"What's up? Sorry baby I didn't call. I've been busy with work." He apologizes.

"No it's okay. It's okay. I just want to talk to you." I said nervously.

"Okay sure. Let's talk. What's wrong?" He asked worried.

"You know Yuhan. You are a kind person. I've never been so happy with someone. You've got amazing friends, stable job, you are a gentleman, you are the sweetest person and all the things a woman could ask for but I think I don't deserve you. You are made for much better and that is not me." I said while facing him. I hold his hand and said, "Please forgive me, my feelings for you are sincere but I couldn't do this to you. I couldn't be with you while I was falling again for-"

"Axel." He continued. I looked at him surprised and couldn't make a sound.

"I know Hannah. I have known it from the moment I saw him at your house. The way you look at him and how you speak about him. I get it. I just want you to know that I am grateful that you've been honest with me. I am just waiting for you to come up and tell it directly to me. I am not even mad. I like you, yes, and I will always like you. Maybe it is not our time yet, but if it is our time, I hope we can meet again and continue what we've started."

I stared at him, amazed. I did not expect that.

"I am really sorry Yuhan." I said and was about to cry.

"No Hannah, don't be. It's all my fault. I've rushed things and maybe you've just been caught to it. I didn't know you are in complicated situation and now I know that you just want an out from it. But now, you realized that you want to take a risk for him. That it might ruin your friendship but now you decide to go for it."

"I don't know what to say." I said, shocked. All of what he said was true. "I never intend to hurt you Yuhan. I am sorry for bringing you into my mess. I hope we can still be friends at least?" I said while giving him a small smile.

"Sure Hannah. If you need help, I am just one call away." He said and hugged me.

Oh this man. I hope he won't change.

We broke apart and he asked,"so are you going to tell him about your feelings for him?"

"I plan to, when he will return from their out of town work." I answered.

"Well goodluck and I hope it will turn out fine Hannah." He said.

"Aww thank you friend." I teased and we laughed.

So that went well.

I just hope Axel will come home sooner. I am excited and at the same time nervous. I think on ways on how to tell him that I love him and that I want to change our bestfriend label.

Oh Lord I hope this turns out well.
