Chapter 10

When lunch was over I went to put my lunch box away and grabbed my books for French class which was next. I only have a couple minutes before the bell rings and I will get a detention. I was about to close my locker when Mavis came. she said " hey let's go to French class before we get detention" I nodded and we went of to class. When we got inside I saw Jax sitting in the back with a new guy I never saw him before. I take a seat next to Mavis and we sit quietly waiting for the teacher to talk. our teacher says " ok class today we have a new student Brian." I look behind me and see that Brian was the dude sitting next to jax. Brian said " hey I'm Brian " he then sat back down and the teacher said " ok do pages 102 to 105 then you could relax for the rest of class " I quickly started to do the pages and when I finished I noticed Mavis drawing. I said " just finished what you wanna do" she smirks and said " I have a question for you " I nod then say " what is it " she then said " well I saw you go to the library with Daniel " I said " ya we had a free period " she smirks and said " so what were you doing, did he ask you out" I said " why would you think that" she smiled and said "well everybody could see he likes you only you can't see that. your too scared to see that cuz you think he doesn't like you" I said " I don't know it's hard to say if he likes me " she nodded. I was about to say something when the new kid I think Brian was his name came over. I said " hey I'm Emma " he smiled and said " hi I'm Brian but I bet you already knew that." Mavis then said " well I'm Mavis" he smiled and said " do you know where the football team meets " I nodded and said " outside usually. I'm guessing your on the team" he nodded and said " ya since I was really good at my last school they gave me a spot." I smiled and he then said " I will see you later " he tipped his imaginary hat then went off. Mavis said " wow he's a really cutie" I laughed and said " you think every boy is a cutie " she just shrugged then the we heard the intercom " all people on the cheerleading squad who are performing tonight will proceed to the gym and not go to last period" ya I don't need to go to last period best day ever. The bell then rang and I went to my locker to put my books away. I then grabbed my cheerleading uniform. It was a white skirt which goes to mid thigh and we have a top that says cheer with thick straps. I went to the changing room and put it on. then went off to the gym. the teacher was there taking the attendance. when she finished she said" ok do 3 laps around the gym and stretch. after I blow my whistle come here." I then went off to do what she said. when I heard the whistle I went to our teacher. she said " ok tonight we are performing. so be here on time. it is at 7. we will all meet outside in our uniforms. oh and for our final move we are going to do a cheer pyramid. it's is were stunts are close to each other and the flyers usually hold each other hand. for this one I want Emma group to be in the middle. your group will do a high and the flyer will go up on one foot and when at the top you grab your foot and bring it the closest to the back of your head. the other groups will be doing a high and hold each other hands. okay now let's practice the whole routine." we then went in our spy's and the music began. When I heard the bell I went of to my locker and grabbed my bag. I then went off to the washroom to get changed. when I was down I went outside to see Maddie and Mavis in the car. I got inside the car and Maddie said " is it true that you and Daniel are together." I said " no where did you hear that" she didn't answer me so I guess Mavis had a part in this. when I arrived home I said to Maddie " by the way the game starts at 7 we perform half way through the football game. we have to leave for 7:10 latest " they nodded and then I went up to my room. I heard my phone beep, I picked it up and saw a text form an unknown person it said
- hey Emma
- who is this
- it's Daniel
- how did you get my number
- I hope you don't mind I asked Mavis for it
- oh no I don't mind
- are you going to tonight's game
- ya I'm actually performing with the cheer team
- well I will see you later
- ya bye
I then closed my phone and started my homework. I checked the clock and it was 6 , I went downstairs and did a spell. I said I may not be steady so make supper ready " on the table there was pasta and bread. I then shouted " Mavis Maddie supper "in 5 seconds the girls came down. We ate supper then I said " be ready bit 7 then we leave." I went up to my room and did myself a high ponytail with my cheer bow. I then put my outfit on and went downstairs. I waited around 5 minutes then we went off. When we arrived at school I went with my team while Mavis and Maddie got a spot on the benches and watched the football game. I saw Brian make a touchdown and the crowd went wild. the game was half over we went off to the middle field and got in our starting positions. When the music started we did a small dance. I then did a running roundoff-flip-flip- backflip. I then did some stunts. we did some more gym and I went into the final position. I went up into a high and grabbed my foot. I was about to let go when I saw a football come out of nowhere and hit one if my bases. then out stunt came falling down. oh no I'm foresee going to break something. but instead if feeling the hard ground I felt somebody holding me. I then saw who it was, it was Daniel. He said " are you ok Emma " I said " ya thank you " he smiled and said " I will do anything for you. I will never let you get hurt on my watch " what did he just say that. if it wasn't for almost falling to my the ground I will probably faint. what I now what I need to do and so I said " Daniel can I turn in my request since I won the video game " he laughed and said " sure you did win far in square, bit are you sure you want to use it " I nodded and he smiled and said " ok say what you want " ok I can't believe I'm doing this and I said " kiss me " he smiled then kissed me. I smiled during the kiss and we pulled our lips apart. he smiled and said " so I guess that this make us girlfriend and boyfriend " I nodded and we kissed again.
