Days flew quickly, After that day Surya has contacted Maadhu only once. This time he called her because he had to come clear with Maadhu regarding something his mother said.
Its the day before their wedding and today is Maadhuri and Surya's engagement and pre-wedding rituals. Their family has arrived in the wedding hall and they are preparing for the engagement ceremony. Surya is welcoming the guests. Eventhough he is smiling outside, his heart is in a great dilemma.
He don't know how to face Maadhu. Confessing his unwillingness to her felt like a bad idea. At first he thought that he could stop this marriage, but as days passed by he came to know clearly that he can't do anything in this. But, to be honest, a small part of his heart is feeling good about this marriage.
It is not like he has not tried. But all his plans are for vain. Like, once he said his mom that he wish his wife to not work outside but to help him in his business. He thought that Maadhu will not leave her job. But to his dismay, she had already left her job. He is shocked to know that she has left her job. Raj has said that Maadhu is going to continue her job, and that is what even his family has said him.
He is really confused about Maadhu's decision. So he called her to come clear with this matter. After some formal enquiries he asked her about her work. But the answer she said made him feel guilty. Maadhu has said that with the problems going on in her life she can not concentrate in her job. And the main problem is that, if he stopped this wedding in between it will be very difficult for her to face others, as the whole college now knows about her marriage.
He noticed the difference in her tone of voice. It is totally different from the first time she talked with him. Last time he thought that is because of her health condition. But this time he can clearly find the sadness that is coated.
After some days he came with another plan. As Maadhu was born and grown in a city, he thought that she will be not willing to stay in a village. But even this time it was said that she is going to stay with him in his farm. And additionally he came to know that, she always has an interest in agriculture. For a second he felt happy to know this.
Maadhu has been in her room where the beautician is making her ready for the engagement. She has been surrounded by her friend Nisha and her sisters who have been teasing her from morning. Her lips were frozen with a smile.She wanted to feel each and every second of their wedding, as this is the only time for her to get married. She is sure that he will not stop the wedding at this point. At first she felt really bad, when Surya asked her to stop this wedding. But after somedays, Raj came to meet her and then from him she came to know about his past events which made him hate married life. She is sure that she can change his thoughts by her actions.
As a first step she decided to leave her job, so that she can stay with him. She didn't expected him to ask her about her decision, but, when he asked she answered that it is because of him. She knew that, if he came to know that he is the reason behind this then he will feel guilty, and atleast in this way he will think about her.
After sometime Maadhuri is taken to the stage for her engagement. She has been seated in the center, where on one side her closest family members are there and Surya's family was on the another side. From the time she came here her eyes were secretly catching a glimpse of a man that has stolen her heart. Surya is sitting in the front row and he has been watching her from the time she came in his view. Something in her captivated his eyes on her. This is the first time he saw her in a saree. She is even more beautiful than the first time he saw her. The engagement saree suited her so well. Even with the light makeup she looke like an angel.

"Ahem..." a voice from the side disturbed him from admiring Maadhu. He turned to find Raj standing there with a smirk.
"What?" Surya asked him. Annoyance evidence in his voice.
"Move your eyes from her for man, she will not go anywhere" Raj said teasingly. "I am not looking at her" Surya said, Still his eyes were on Maadhu.
"Even the child will not believe this" Raj said..Surya opened his mouth to give his friend a relpy, but he was called to stage for the ring ceremony. He went to the stage. Maadhuri can feel her heart beating faster as he came near her. An elegant rose gold ring was given to him. Maadhuri nervously lifted her hand for him to wear the ring. Her hands trembled as he catched her hands. On the other side Surya felt a strange feeling in his heart as he touched her gentle fingers. Both of them exchanged the rings. Maadhu's cheeks turned a light shade of red as he touched her, and it didn't go un-noticed by him.

Surya can't describe the feelings that he got. But he is sure that it is not hatred. He is really confused about himself. He is the one who wanted this wedding to stop, but here when it is happening a part of him was feeling happy. His thoughts are disturbed when one of his aunt called him to get ready for the next ritual. Surya moved the confusion aside and went to get ready.
Here Maadhuri is feeling over the clouds. She has seen the changes that happened in his face. Even it lasted for seconds, Maadhuri has seen them, as she was standing so close to him. She is even more sure that she can make him fall for her. With this thought in her mind she went to get ready for the next ritual with a smile in her face.

I am back after a long time. Hope you remember me. I badly wanted to give an update but seems like my lap has got some other plans. When I get it repaired, My college works started to line up, so my updates got postponed. But finally today I got some time to write this.Actually I had this update written down already, but someting got me feel not satisfied about that. So I literally deleted the whole 1500 words update and changed them.Next update will be given shortly, as I am free from my works now.
