Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano and her Padawan Ashla Tami have gone on a meditative retreat to Onderon with Lux and the newborn twins, in the hopes of being able to heal from their imprisonment and spend some time as a family.

Ahsoka knew that this forced vacation would help both herself and her padawan recover from their time as prisoners, but she couldn't stop worrying about the chaos that they had left behind on Coruscant.

The Senate had become a political nightmare, there were Senators who refused to even acknowledge the fact that another war was coming while others were trying to attack now before things got worse.

The Jedi Order was swarming the council members and all but demanding to know what they were going to do, and many of them went to her specifically because she had been the one to end the last war. This meant that council meetings were grim and they had such heavy atmospheres, they always left their meetings tense and extremely conflicted.

None of it was helping her recover from her imprisonment or the birth of her children.

Ahsoka sighed but was brought back to reality when she felt a hand grip her own, and she turned away from the window she'd been looking out and saw her husband staring at her with love and concern.

"Are you ok Ahsoka?" He asked her gently and she nodded her head and offered him a small smile, "I will be Lux. I think all I need is time away from the order and the Republic, time to send with my family."

He nodded and gave her hand a slight squeeze, "don't worry Ahsoka. You just focus on resting and relaxing, and we're going to meet up on Naboo with Padmè and her family in two weeks."

She smiled at that, for the Skywalker's and Newbarrie's were the only family she had left. Seeing as her own biological family had been killed on Shili before she'd been found by Master Plo.

"I'm looking forward to seeing Luke and Leia again, not to mention Sola and my adoptive grandparents."

Lux laughed at that but that's when the alert went off in the ship announcing the fact that they were coming out of hyperspace, and Ahsoka focused her attention back to flying the ship.

She brought them out of hyperspace and smiled when she saw the familiar sight of Onderon before them, and she felt some of the tension leave her body as she guided the ship into Onderon's atmosphere and then landing at the landing pads.

"I'm just happy to be home," Lux said and Ahsoka couldn't help but smile as she powered down the ship. "A month of absolutely nothing but time to ourselves to spend as a family," she said and Lux laughed.

They'd been through hell and more, but somehow they knew that they'd be fine as long as they had each other.

I'm so so so sorry that it's taken me so long to update this, and that it's such a short chapter. I honestly had hoped to make it longer, but back when I started this series I had a clear view of what I wanted to do but now that view has been distorted to the point that I've had so much trouble trying to finish this story. I feel like I'm letting you amazing people down, and I hate it. But this is also going to be the end of the series, because I've just had so much trouble trying to finish it in a way that would matter.

However if someone wants to pick up where I've left off on this story, to give it the ending it truly deserves, them just PM me. Just because I can't finish it properly doesn't mean one of you awesome people can't either, and maybe you could make it better than it has been.

This has been a wonderful experience, truly wonderful. When I published my first story, Ahsoka Grave Danger, I never imagined the world it would open for me. This series started so much for me and has connected me to all of you amazingly awesome people, and you've all helped me through so much. While this is the end of my first series, it's not the end of my writings. I've got so many ideas partially written, and so many people helping me and giving me support that I'm not too sad at marking the end to my first series.

I am truly sorry that I couldn't end this story on a better note, but I feel that this is the right thing to do.

But keep an eye out for more of my Star Wars stories. I've got a few in the making, and I'm hoping that they're gonna be good.

Anyways, may the force be with you all.
