Chapter 11 - Allen

Akira pushed open the door to the restaurant and walked in. He glanced around then saw his friend waving to him. He made a beeline towards his friend and slid into the seat across from him.

"Hey man what's up? What'd you need to talk to me about?"

"Hey Allen, I've got something serious to talk about do you think we could go somewhere, more private?"

"Aw come on, I haven't even gotten to eat yet."

"Your stomach can wait, this is important." Allen saw the look on Akira's face and knew something was wrong. They both stood up. Allen pushed a strand of his white hair out ohis face revealing a long scar going up his face across his eye ending in a star looking shape above his eyebrow.

"Where do you want to go?" Allen asked as they walked outside.

"There's a park just a little was up the street that is usually pretty empty, except for the occasional couple. We can go there."

They walked up the street looking at all of the shops and bright lights. Some shops had set up their lights for Christmas already. An aray of lights glowed against the night sky.

Akira and Allen eventually reached the park.

"So whats up?"

"Its about Kyria."

"Your girlfriend? You guys break up or something? I swear if that's what this is about I may have to hurt you for denying me my food."

"It's not, its not about that,"Akira said hurriedly, running a hand through his curly hair,"she... got kidnapped."

"What by who?"Allen asked, suddenly becoming serious.

"You remember my friend Kou?"

"Oh no, I thought he was in prison."

"Well he's not anymore. He bought a copy of SAO off the black market to get revenge on me. So he took Kyria," Akira's face suddenly twisted in pain,"and he sent me this video of her, being tortured. Allen, we to help her." Akira said holding back tears that threatened to fall out.

"Do you know where she is?"

"No! She doesn't appear on the map. All my other friends are there but she's not , it's like she's not even here anymore."

"That's weird...I wonder..."

"Wonder what?"

"I've heard rumors...of a floor 0 and you can't see the people who go there on the map because it's not part of the map."

"How do you get to it?!" Akira asked leaning forward.

"I...don't know, but I have a contact on Floor 10 that might."

" Let's go then!"

They walked out of the park and down the street. Out of the corner of his eye Akira saw a flash of green coming from an alley. He turned around but nothing was there.

"What're you doing?"

"Nothing...." Akira said, still looking at the alley," Let's go."

He turned back around and they headed towards the portal.
