Awake

You can't buy love, but you can pay heavily for it

"Like seriously anywhere?" He asked.

I nodded for the tenth time.

"Then let's hit the zoo!" He pulled my hand.

We went to the nearest zoo and I went to pay the tickets. I'm paying since it's not easy for him to have a day out like this so I want him to remember this feeling. The feeling of freedom.

We went in and walked around the zoo. We walked and see everything possible. We went to the reptile area, we went to look at the lions and I swear the baby lion looks like Mark. We went to play around at the rabbit patch too. There were a lot of kids but we didn't mind. We got looks too... Eh it doesn't matter.

We took a lot of selfies and goofy videos and had a great laugh rewatching them. We're sitting at a bench near the ostrich right now.

"Oh my god... I see your twin Jinnie!" He smacks my lap hard.

"What? Where?" I rub the place he slaps.

"There!" He pointed. I followed the direction of his hand and saw an ostrich burying its head into the ground.

I hit his shoulder and he had good laugh.

"That's not me!" I pouted.

"Doesn't it looks the same as you? Like a fool!" He laughed.

I rolled my eyes while he tried to stop laughing.

"We already seen everything..." I looked at the map in the brochure.

"Let's go grab Ice cream!" I said.

"I don't like milk" he said.

"I know a vegan ice cream parlor!" I pulled his hand and we left the zoo together.

Jaemin

We entered the parlor and she choose a table beside the wall. Seems like the ice cream here is good. There's so many people here and most of them are like a couple on a date.

Then I looked at the cheerful girl. My heart raced. Are we on a date?

"What would you like?" A waitress asked.

"I want a strawberry parfait!" She placed her order.

"Give me  a bowl of blueberry sorbet" I smiled to the waitress.

She went to grab what we ordered for and came back with a tray. She placed the huge glass of parfait infront of Jinah and the bowl infront of me. We thanked her and she left.

"Eww strawberry" I took a glance at her.

"Strawberry tastes very good!" She shove the whole fruit into her mouth.

"No it doesn't. It's too tart" I said.

"Ahh you don't know what great taste is!" She said proudly.

We ate and chat a little about each other. She took a lot of picture. A lot picture of me. She would laugh at the ugly ones not caring about the looks people are giving her.

This girl is really adorable. I feel like my heart is going to burst if I look at her any longer.

"You messy eater..." I took a tissue on the table and leaned closer to wipe it for her.

Jinah

I feel like my head is going to explode. He just wiped my lips for me. How can a guy who's not even my boyfriend make such a gentle move on me. He's driving me crazy today.

"So what else do you want to do?" I asked him while trying to brush away the feelings.

"Since it's almost dawn.... I want to watch the sunset... With you" he stared straight into my eyes.

"O-oh then I know the perfect place!"

"Ta-da!" She said.

It's a huge empty filled and guess what? There a hot air balloon event here. I was stunned. She pulled my hand and went to the mini table to pay for the ride. She took the half an hour ride and paid for me as well.

The person brought us to a balloon and helped us ride it. Then before I know it, We're already in the air. The air up here is quite different from on the ground.

"Am I really floating right now?" I mumbled.

"Do you want me to pinch you?" She asked.

"Yes plea- OUCH JINNIE!" She gave a such a quick pinch.

I turned to look at her and I'm in such an awe. She's so beautiful and why haven't I noticed this? Is it because her playful, naughty yet witty persona covered her beauty making me not realise her beauty? Why am I missing so much of her details?

The air is blowing her long hair making it wave with the air, not letting a strand sit still. Her eyelash are not so long but it's like this perfect amount making her look like a doll.

"What are you staring at? Watch the sun silly!" She poke my cheek.

I reached to her and hugged her. She was suprised that she almost stumble at first but she's fine.

"Thank you for being my friend. Thank you for taking care of me and helping my sister even though you just met me. Thank you for bringing me here today... Thank you Jinnie" I said to her.

"U-uh it's not a big deal anyways... You deserve happiness too because each human are allowed to create their own happiness. All those pictures and videos we took together... It's a sign that in what ever thing you have in life... It doesn't became an obstacle for you to find a happiness for yourself" she hugged me back tightly.

"Then let me make you my happiness" I placed a long peck on her head.

"Okay... I'm your happiness... Reach to me whenever you want. Even if you're happy... Reach for me. I'll share every happy moment with you!" She said.

And slowly....

The sun sets....

With my happiness in my arms...
