ALEX'S POV
" Get a room." I flick Carsons head as I walk past. I had just woken up, and I came downstairs to find him leaning in to kiss Wilson.
" Shut the hell up and get in the car." He mutters, grabbing his keys. I laugh, holding the door open for Indigo.
" Thanks, Alex." She grins at me, hopping into the passenger seat. With a huff, I climb into the backseat. My phone vibrates in my back pocket, and I quickly grab it.
Noah- Dad took my phone for a few. Call me.
I glance at Carson and Indigo, and they are conversing. After pressing Noah's contact, I bring my phone to my ear.
" Hey." I hear him say. His voice is lower and rough, telling me he was just asleep.
" Hey. Are you coming to school?" I ask, and I hear him yawn.
" Yeah. But I might be late, I just woke up." He responds, and I laugh.
" I can tell. You sound like you got zero sleep." I say, he sighs.
" I didn't, really. I was thinking about something all night." He admits.
" What's that?" I question, and he laughs.
" You." He responds, and I feel a raging blush creep up my neck. Just then, Carson pokes me.
" Were here." He mutters, and I un buckle.
" Why were you thinking of me?" I continue, getting out of the car and putting my bag on. I hear the faucet running through the phone.
" Honestly? I don't know. I just couldn't stop. I was thinking of everything. Memories from 10 years ago, memories from ten days ago. I miss you, asshole." He explains, and I laugh.
" Well, I've gotta get to class. See you soon." I hang up, opening my locker. Not more that a second later, Austin is by my side.
" Hey." He greets cheerfully, and I smile.
" Why are you so happy?" I ask, and he grins.
" No reason. You ready for history?" He questions, and I nod.
"Yeah. You gotta pay attention though." I say, and he rolls his eyes playfully.
"Shush"

CARSON'S POV
" Wilson." I whisper, poking her back. She turns around, the top of her pen between her lips.
" I'm bored." I tell her, and she sighs.
" Do your class work, so you don't fail." She taps her pen on my blank paper, and I groan. The teacher shoots me his best glare, but doesn't say anything.
After school, when I'm driving home, Indigo turns down the radio.
" Where's your brother?" She asks, and I stop at a red light.
" He's getting a ride from Reyna, since he was going to hang out with Noah anyways." I respond, and she nods. I turn the radio on, staying quiet.
When we get back to my house, both of us go inside.
" We are finally alone!" She says, and I laugh.
" Yeah." I smirk, sitting down. We lock eyes, until the door opens and Alex appears. He chucks his stuff down angrily, storming up the stairs. I groan, and Indigo pushes my shoulder.
" Is your brother always in a bad mood?" She asks, and I stretch my legs.
"Definitely." I mutter, standing up. As I walk up the stairs, I turn around, throwing her a wink. She scrunches her nose. I laugh before opening Alex's door.
" Can you-" I stop when I see him staring at his phone with tears rapidly running down his cheeks. His eyes land on me, and he starts furiously wiping his eyes.
" Get out." He spits, and I sigh.
"What's up, Alex?" I sit beside him and he reluctantly places his phone in my hands. I glance at the screen and there is Alex, pinned against the school wall, his lips attached to Noah's.
" Alex, you can't do that in the hallway." I start, and he stands up.
" That's all your worried about? Now everyone at school knows! What if Dad finds out? He's gonna hate me! Carson, I don't want him to hate me more that he already does! " He stresses, tears streaming out of his eyes.I stand up, placing a hand on his shoulder,
" He won't hate you, Alex. Sure, he's an ass, but he's your Dad." He shakes his head slowly, and I sigh before pulling him into my chest. He immediately tries to push me away.
" Let go." He says weakly, and I groan.
" If I want to hug my little brother, I'm gonna fucking hug him. " I state, and I hear him let out a small laugh.
" I hate you." He mumbles into my chest, and I grin.
" Love you too."

A/N:
Just kind of a short chapter, but I should be updating again tonight.
Don't forget, I accept everyone's opinion, even (constructive) criticism. 🥰
