Two boys sat together in a coffee shop. Going through their day as they usually do, Not that they had any issue with it however. They became used to it. They became used to going to different academies everyday as their parents needed them to be smart in order for them to be content with themselves. They became used to sitting together in a cafe for half an hour a day when it was their only free time. They became used to living life to the standards of others.
Well thats what everybody thought and expected them to do. That was the case for one of the boys. However the older was sick of it. He'd been sick of it ever since it started but he didnt tell anyone.
He knew better than to go against those of his kind.
This boy was Lee Seokmin, he had been different to the other humans for a while but nobody cared enough to notice. He secretly hated studying and the taste of the bitter coffee he orders everyday. He was sick of being seen as superior when he did nothing to deserve that title and seeing inhumanes avoid him because they were afraid.
He just wanted to live life his own way.
"whats wrong seokmin? You good?" His friend Chan asks.
"Huh? Oh sorry I just zoned out for a bit. you were saying?"
"im going to carry on even though I know you wont listen bcause you have the attention span of a goldfish" Chan says whilst letting out a deep sigh.
"Goldfishes are nice! Whats wrong with a goldfish?! I personally think humans are the problem and goldfishes deserv-" He was cut off
"oh my god Seokmin shush if you like goldfish so much turn into one!" Chan says, his voice slightly raised.
"if I could I would!" Seokmin argues back.
"well get a wizard to turn you into one then." The younger says sarcastically.
"you scared away all of my wizard friends chan."
"No. You got it twisted, they scared themselves away I just stated facts. We aren't allowed to be friends with them anyway so I don't see what the issue is." He said whilst tilting his head.
Seokmin walks out of the coffee shop without saying a word back to the boy.
