Author's note: So...new chapter up. All the rush of inspiration is coming to me now so maybe more chapters as planned. Who knows? Maybe a sequel will be planned too? IDK. Anyways bye! Hope you enjoy!

Weeks after the marshmallow incident, Sam has avoided me as he always did. Everything went back to how it was. When I went to my locker on this particular morning, a group of students were gathered around my locker. I'm gonna guess that it is either one of these. If it's not vandalising my locker with permanent marker or someone broke into my locker. Again. Leanne was in the group and she runs over to walk with me when she spots me. "You have got to see this. This shit is happening all over again, like a cycle. It came on July again, just like that one last year." Leanne says casually. Oh yeah, this shit is repeating itself again. When I arrived at my locker, the people gave way to me and all I heard were very faint whispers coming from them.

Nope. No way. Hell no. What the hell?

All these words seems to fit the situation. Yes, there were words written with white permanent marker on there but...they weren't insults like last year. It was apparently, a love letter written on my locker. By Anonymous. Hmm...typical.

'I have been looking at you from afar for quite some time now, and for that duration of time... I came to fall in love with you. Deeply. I find you very attractive Cassie Reed. Very.' This was written in small letters on my locker and it was the talk of the town. In every class I went into, I would feel a pair of eyes, gazing at me. Whenever I turned back, the feeling was gone. And it would start again when I turned to the front. Who was this guy? Or girl? I hope not. I'm not bi. I'm straight. After class, Leanne and I walked to ur next class together. The silence between us was so quiet despite the crowd around us, it was scary. "Who do you think it is?" I say suspiciously while looking down at my feet moving in motion as I take footsteps to my next class.

"I don't know crap Cassie. But I'm going to guess that it is Sam." Leanne assumes.

"Why does everything point to Sam? Just because he came back into my life just for a day or two doesn't mean that everything and anything that is related to 'love' points to him."

"It's freaking obvious Cass. First, he comes into your life after a couple of years, and then he makes a move on you. And then it all ends up to him just wanting to be in bed with you. Don't you think it might be him? Just for a single percent?"

"Nope. I know it's not him. I just know it. It's just another guy...or girl, that's just an admirer." I assure. "So, who do you think it is?" Leanne asks me slowly.

"That person is probably really shy and a little of a creeper. Yep, the best description ever."

Leanne laughs and pats me on the back before walking away on her own. "Good luck on your search!" She shouts and goes into her class. I raise my hand to acknowledge her and go into my class as well, and there it is. It's him. No, not Sam. It's that guy who vandalised school property to write that love letter to me. How I knew it was him?

Pshhh simple. He was down on his knees, ready to propose. With a bouquet of flowers in his hands and the word 'PLEASE?' was made out of rose petals. How sweet, but still. I don't like surprises. I probably never told you that before. His face wasn't being able to be seen but he had brown scruffy hair, his arms was rather muscular, and he was wearing khaki shorts so it showed his thigh muscles too. Damn, those muscles tho'.
He looked up at me and he was one of the boys from photography club. He's not very well known around school. He just happens to be someone familiar to me because hey, I'm in the photography club too. Never really talked to him or actually been in a project with him. Nope. But maybe that's what he meant by 'I have been looking at you from afar.' He stands up and walks over to me. "Will you take my propo-" he says while passing me the bouquet of flowers. But I stopped him halfway with a really bad sentence. "Okay, so I don't want to ruin this all but...you didn't really have to do this y'know. If you wanted me to be a thing with me you could've just asked me straight out. Not with all this fancy schmancy stuff."

He just stares at me for a moment and starts grabbing the rose petals and the bouquet of flowers and threw them away. He then came up to me empty-handed to me and asked me again. He really likes me. Or loves me. "Can you be my girlfriend?"

"Nope. Because I know nothing about you, and you know nothing about me. Why not we take this slow?"

He raises both his hands up and surrenders. "Okay, okay." I smile at him and then my glasses slide off my nose. He chuckles and places it back for me. "That's one of the things I like about you. You have the most beautiful smile."

Oh duck it. I grab his face and kiss him on the lips. He wraps his arms around me and carries me up in the air which makes me squeal and flail and then brings me down making me wrap my legs around his torso. Relationship goals! But everything was flat. I felt nothing. It was just oh a kiss. And then oh he carries me up in the air. But I keep it to myself anyway. "So are we a thing?" He asks.

"No. I still don't know who you are. But I'm willing to take the chance."

His facial expression becomes similar to a child getting chocolate and takes out his hand for me to shake. "Hi, I'm Calum. Nice to meet you." I grab his hand in mine and shake it softly. "Nice to meet you Calum. I'm Cassie."

"I know that."

"Just say you didn't know my name alright?"

He chuckles and goes to a table and sits there. I look at him dumbfounded and walk over to him before the bell rings to signal class is starting. He smirks at me and pulls the chair beside him open. "Sit beside me?"

"Sure."
-------------------

Calum asked me if we could walk hand in hand together to our next class. Apparently, I had almost all the classes with him. The only one class I wasn't with him was History. The worst thing was I was horrible at it and he was awesome at it. I said yes to his request and we held hands outside of class while we waited for Leanne. She comes out of the opposite class and stares at Calum. She cuts off our holding hands moment and places her hands on her hips. "What are you doing with my best friend Calum?"

Calum intertwines his fingers with mine and tells her. "She is my girlfriend as of today." She sighs heavily and raises her arms to surrender. "I give up. Anyways, if you make her cry I'll twist those scruffy hair out of your scalp." Leanne threatens.

"Who is he to you?" I ask Leanne.

"He's my lovely cousin." Leanne smiles sarcastically at Calum while giving him a death glare.

"Oh." Is all I say.

"There's this party tonight at Sam's. Are you guys coming?" Calum asks. He knows Sam? How does he? "Do you know Sam Miller?" I ask back. "Yeah, he's my bro. Going through some tough times lately. Don't know what's going in that brain of his. He doesn't want to tell me what's going on."

"How long has it been that way?" I ask, slightly choking on my words because maybe I have been a little too harsh on him. "Since freshman year of high school."

"Something to do with his girlfriend maybe?" I continue.

"Girlfriend? What are you talking about? He has no girlfriend! It's been that way since ages. He's very different from most guys. Normally, they would just want to get into girl'a pants. But he's different. All my life I've known him since freshman year, he has never got into bed with a girl once. Maybe their room but not the bed."

It kind of fits in now. The puzzle.

Author's note: Hey hi! So finally done with another chapter! Hope you guys enjoy it. So what did you think about Calum's proposal to Cassie? This is not a 5sos fanfic. Just because there is Calum in it. Don't hate me but I'm not a 5sos fan, I just like a couple of their songs. I think the Calum in there has two 'l' in his name. Callum is it? Anyways, do you think the story is going to fast or too slow? I need your comments! I REALLY NEED THEM! Mhm, okay bye!
