Chaeyoung's POV

"Hey. Chaeyoungie? You there?" I heard my cousin's voice which snapped me back to my senses.

"Huh- What- Yeah I'm here," I said as I shook my head.

"Do you want to eat first?" He asked. I nodded as I followed his steps. We took a taxi and went to one of my favorite fast food restaurants, Itaewon the Burger. It's a classic burger joint that has its meat imported from Australia, my hometown.

"The usual, Chae?" I nodded once again and looked for a spot. My eyes went through the crowd as I found a familiar silhouette near the window. Was she the one from the airport?

I found myself walking towards her, as her face came into my view. She was silently eating, taking small bites while scrolling through her phone.

She must've noticed my presence, a stupid reason for me to look around to see if there were any available seats. She shook it off as I found a nice place to sit, a table across hers.

I waved at my cousin as I felt her strong gaze on me. I looked at her from the side of my eye and caught her looking at me. Chanyeol placed the tray on the table as I smiled at him.

"Thank you, oppa." I said as I dug in.

"So you're really training for four years? Then that means no more cousin time, right?" He frowned. I sighed as I sipped some of my soda.

"Yeah. Was it like this when you started training at SM?" He looked up and seemed to think, as he slowly nodded and took another bite of his burger.

"Kind of. But my mentors weren't super strict after a year has passed. Remember? I started chatting with you through my SNS account after a year of my hiatus." I wowed, admiring his experience.

"I think YG has a tougher kind of training though. Most of my friends who trained in YG said that they couldn't even eat properly, leaving me shocked. Good luck, Chaeyoungie. I really look forward to your future career." He smiled as he wiped his mouth with a tissue and took the last sip of his iced tea.

"Are you done?" I nodded as I looked around to see if the girl was gone, and she is.

"Follow me, we have to go to YG's building and meet your mentor." I smiled as I nodded and followed him inside the car waiting for us outside the restaurant.

As soon as we arrived, he introduced me to the staff as they guided us to where I would be staying.

"You're really beautiful, Ms. Park. I'm sure you'll make it to the top." One of YG's staff said. I felt flustered upon hearing a compliment once in a while.

"By the way, Ms. Park, I'll just wish you good luck. Your mentor is... you know, kinda scary. But she's kind, don't worry! Though I've heard that most of the trainees actually back out because of her." I shivered as I heard her description of my mentor.

"Here we are. Please turn right when you step out of the elevator. Good luck!" She said as the elevator closed.

"So, is this where we'll part? Already?" Chanyeol frowned and sighed as he opened his arms for a big hug. I accepted his hug and hugged him really tight.

"Yeah, I guess. Good luck in SM! I hope I'll see you in live shows, tho." I said and smiled, not letting go of the hug.

"I'll miss your loud ass singing featuring your piano at 3 AM, Chaeng." I moved away and punched his arms and he burst out laughing.

"By the way, I heard that your mentor is really strict. I hope you could keep up with that. If you have a hard time learning some steps, you can always meet me at my condo. I'm living the life, you know?" He smiled sheepishly as I rolled my eyes at him.

"Go now, I'll contact you anyway," I said as he waved his hand. I waved back and dragged my luggage with me inside the room.

As I stepped into the room, I saw a familiar pair of eyes dart at me in the mirror.

"It's you?!"
