Sneak Peek...

You know being an inch away from death when everything was about to go blank when you were just about to be enveloped in eternal darkness but then you didn't. That kind of experience that... changes you, it's such an out of body experience your woes, your anger, your grudges even pain vanishes with the realization that how breakable you are, how it would just take a moment to....poof! And everything you know changes. We spent our whole lives complaining about what we don't have, never thanking for what we do have, for the last ten years at least that what I did but last night gave me perspective. Everybody around me things I am not a believer but my problem is not that I don't believe in the divine entity, my problem is I know he exists he is my best friend and I was angry with him because he didn't save my father.

I shook away from my thoughts as I look at myself in the mirror, I brush my hair and left them free like waves down my back, I tug the longs sleeves of my blue sweater, covering my palms halfway. It was V neck making my bruise neck visible, I look down at my white jeggings that came to my ankle, then I look at my neck how do I hide the bruise?

"You look beautiful"

"Ma" I turn and gave Ma an embarrassed smile.

She walked towards me with a small copper bowl in her hands.

"What is this?"
