Breakup / Makeup

I walked out to my truck with makeup running down my face. Today was an eventful day during school. A breakup, a fight with my closest friend, and now it's raining. I get into my truck and put my head on the steering wheel. I get a couple weird looks but I shake them off. I was in my own world until someone in the passenger seat started talking.

"Is everything okay Caitlin?" they asked. I quickly looked up only to find my guy friend Jai. 

"Oh my gosh Jai don't ever do that." I say taking a sigh of relief.

"Your makeup its-" he started but I cut him off.

"Everywhere, I know." I said putting my face in my hands.

"What happened?" he asked.

"Well, Beau broke up with me because of rumors with me and Luke, then Ryleigh and I got into a huge fight," my phone went off, "and now I have to work an extra shift tonight." I said.

"I'm so sorry and if Beau broke up with you he has no idea what he had. Did he even try to listen to you?" Jai asked.

"No, he dumped me in the middle of the cafeteria then left and I thought Luke would at least try to comfort me but he was no where to be found and I couldn't go to Ryleigh and I didn't see you the rest of the day."

Jai leaned over and gave me a hug. He told me to call him after my shifts tonight and he was going to pick me up. I reluctantly agreed and went to work. Around 10 I called Jai. When he pulled up there was someone in the car with him. Beau. Jai got outof the car while Beau stayed.

"What is he doing here?" I asked Jai.

"Hear him out please?" Jai asked.

"Fine but only because you would have to putup with both of us if I didn't."  say and walk to the side of the car where Beau was sitting..

"Caitlin I'm so sorry, I can't imagine my life without you. I was stupid to try and end things.I know I don't deserve a second chance but could you please just give me one?" he asked. Without thinking I leaned through the window and gave him a kiss.

"So is that a yes?" he asked.

"Yes, but dump me like that again and I will take my rifle out of the safe and use it on you." I said with a smile.

"And that's what I love about you." Jai sais hugging me from behind.

"I love you too Jai." I said laughing. I turned around and gave him a kiss on the nose.

"What about me?" Beau asked with sad face.

"Is that all you want? Just a kiss on the cheek?" I asked teasingly.

"Well I'd like more" he said trailing off.

"And I want a bigger lift kit" I said back.

"You guys are so weird." Jai said as he got in the driver's seat.
