The blonde boy was getting ready for bed. He'd just finished eating dinner with his family and was making his way to the bedroom. Johnny opened the door to his room and immediately jumped in fear. Standing near his bed was Kenzie holding a large box.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you. You're mother said to bring this to you."
"I wasn't scared, the boy rolled his eyes then snatched the box out of her hand. "Give it"
Johnny put the box on his bed as Kenzie followed behind him curious to see what was in the box. As Johnny opened the box a sharp pain enters his gut. The box contained a bunch of photos of him and Nadia and the hoodie he lent her. He brought the hoodie to his nose and smelled the soft strawberries scent she left with it. This very scent reminded him of all the nights they would cuddle in his room together. Going thought the box all memories of him and Nadia came flashing back. Kenzie grabbed a frame out of the box.
"Who's this?"
"Don't worry about her," Johnny annoyingly said, snatching the frame out of Kenzie hands and throwing it back in the box. He then closed the box and gave it back to her." Here get rid of it."
"But it's yours, why would I do that?"
"Because I said so."
"Are you okay Johnny ?"
"Yes. Im okay?"
"You don't look okay?"
" Listen, I'm fine. Even if I wasn't fine I don't need help from you?
"Are you mad at me? "Kenzie spoke as she chewed on her lip.
Johnny ignored the girl questions. He went to his closet and put on a random black sweater.
"Do you not like me, Johnny?," Kenzie asked expecting an honest answer this time.
The boy grabbed his phone, slid his feet into some slides and walked out of his bedroom leaving the door wide open. All Kenize could hear were footsteps going downstairs then a slam from the front door. She had no idea where the boy was going but she from what she could guess from the situation he left because of her. Kenzie picked up the box and walked out of the room closing the door on his way out.
The robot walked into Lauren's room and placed the box on her side of the room. Being a robot means she doesn't actually need sleep Lauren used to share a room with her big sister Maddie but when Maddie moved out there left an empty bed in the bedroom. Kenzie moved the box under the bed.
"What's in the box?," Lauren asked as she prepared her outfit for school in the morning."
" I don't know Johnny gave it to me?"
"Johnny gave you something?" Lauren repeated in a confused matter "He doesn't even get me a gift on my birthday. What's inside?"
"I don't know he wouldn't let me look at it."
"What do you think of these boots with this headband?," Lauren asked changing the subject.
"I thought we have to wear uniform"
"Okay but there's a rule that says I cannot accessorize. Want to watch a movie before bed, Kenz?
"My name is Kenzie or MK9 not Kenz. What's a movie? Should I check my online search tool for the definition of a movie?"
"Kenz could be like a nickname between us. Wait, you have an online search tool. Is that like google?"
"Yes it can tell me anything I want or need to know in just five seconds."
"Oh you're going to do all my homework for me."
"Homework," Kenzie asked with a confused face.
"Don't worry about it. Anyway a movie is like a video you watch for entertainment." Lets watch "To All The Boys I Loved Before." It's about two teens who fake a relationship but in the end fall in love?
Kenzie just nodded not having a clue about what the blonde was talking about. The two teens laid next to each other on Laurens pink rug with a laptop in front of them. Lauren grabbed a blanket and wrapped it around both her and Kenzie before clicking the play button.
While the girls were watching their cheesy romance movie Johnny was in the middle of the park all alone by himself. He couldn't get the thought of Naida out of his head. He knew he wanted her back but she probably wants nothing to do with him. As the boy was relaxing on a swing a notification popped up on his phone.

The boy was so eager to see that name pop up on his screen. Why else would the girl of his dreams text him at 11:00 pm. Johnny waited at least 5 minutes before opening the notification so he wouldn't come off as desperate. The boy then followed her back right away and opened her dm. Disappointment filled his face.

Johnny chuckled as he kept rereading these short messages. Not even a full sentence he got back. Johnny never felt so ashamed and hurt. To make his night even worse he felt a raindrop drop on his phone. It started to rain. The boy got off of his swing, slid his phone into his back pocket, and put on his hoodie. Before he could take another step a dark figure approached him. Johnny could no longer feel the raindrops fall onto him. The boy lifted his head as his eyes met a familiar face holding an umbrella over his head.
