𝟲: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗜 𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻

The school Johnny and Lauren attended was different from usual schools. They went to a really prestigious private school that happened to be ranked number 1 in all of canada. They took their studies very seriously and when it came down to exam time life got extremely stressful.

Today was Kenzie's first day of school. She was extremely excited.
As soon as it hit morning the girl got up and made breakfast for the whole family.

"Hey Kenzie what are you doing up so early?" Lauren said as she walked out of the bathroom wearing her freshly ironed uniform.

"I made pancakes."

"When did you learn how to cook," Lauren said grabbing a seat at the kitchen table."

"I just looked it up and followed the directions."

"Wow these look really good. So are you excited for school today?"

"I guess, I'm sorta nervous though."

"Hey don't ruin the mood i'm trying to enjoy these delicious pancakes before Johnny yells at us."

"Why would he yell at us?"

"He always gets up extremely late then has like 15 minutes to get ready for school. Then he starts to panic and rush everyone."

"Oh," Kenzie said as she watched Lauren devour her meal."

"Where's my mom and dad Kenz?"

"Oh your parents had a business meeting at their company. They told me to tell you guys that they won't be home till next week. There's left a note on the coffee table and already sent some cash to you PayPal."

"Nothing new," Lauren let out a big sigh before pouring more syrup on her pancakes.

Lauren and Johnny's parents are really never home. They're always busy, especially working at an artificial intelligence company. They'd sometimes leave home for weeks at a time.

"Guys hurry up we're going to be late. You better be in the car in exactly 3 minutes," Johnny yelled running downstairs with his backpack straps over one of his shoulders.

"See I told you," Lauren smirked. "Johnny you know Kenzie made breakfast why don't you try some?"

"Very funny. Why would I eat something a machine made?"

"Actually about 60% of food humans eat today machines made and contain GMOs," Kenzie said.

"Oh now you want to act smart. Hurry up or we'll be late for school," Johnny said before exiting the house.

Lauren chuckled to herself, "Some things never change come on Kenzie lets go."

The three teens entered the car. Johnny in the driver seat, Lauren in the passenger seat, and Kenzie in the back. They drove the whole time in silence. Johnny hates distractions when driving it makes it hard to concentrate. When they arrived at school Kenzie was in aww. They exited the car and walked into the building.

"Lauren take Kenzie to the main office. I have things to do." Johnny said before walking away from the girls. He didn't even look back.

"Come on Kenzie I'll take you to the office then walk you to your first class."

The blonde dragged the robot to the main office where she got Kenzie schedule, locker number, and school ID. Then walked Kenzie to her locker. Before Lauren could show Kenzie her first class one of her friends called out for her.

"Lauren there as an emergency. We need to decide how the Freshman Friday event is being planned. The band cancelled on us."

"Freshman Friday?" Kenzie looked at Lauren in confusion. She was confused why the Freshman's would have a day out of the week just for them.

"Sorry Kenzie I'll catch up with you later. Are you okay all by yourself?"

"Yep I think I can manage."

"Okay, good luck. If you need help find Johnny." Lauren said before walking away with her other friend."

Kenzie was left all alone. She knew she couldn't follow Lauren and Johnny everywhere. She needed to learn how to do things for herself. After taking one look of the school's map she was able to memorize where every room was. Her first class happened to be Math. After one deep breath she walked into room 324 Math. She made it just in time before the bell rang. Entering the room the teacher was already in the front ready to give instruction.

"Ohh we have a new student I see. What's your name?"

The teacher looked extremely young. He had on a very sophisticated blazer yet looked so immature.

"My name is Kenzie"

Kenzie scanned the room as she greeted everybody. She was excited to see such a fresh face then her eyes stopped at Johnny in the second to last row. Kenzie being the innocent girl she is, waved to him.

"Oh I see you meet Johnny already."

"Yes we live together."

The whole classroom started to whisper to each other and a chain of oouus started. Johnny smacked his hand into his face as he suffered from this embarrassment.

"I didn't know you had another sibling Johnny"

"We're not related," Johnny was quick to blurt out.

The class started too oouu again.

"Well anyway Kenzie finds an empty seat and you can begin to copy what's on the board."

"Can I sit next to Johnny."

"Be my guest," The teacher said before turning towards the board.

Kenzie quickly walked over to the empty seat next to where Johnny was sitting. She had a huge smile on her face as she opened her bag and grabbed out an notebook to write in.

"Looks like were in the same class," she smiled as she faced Johnny.

Johnny looked at her and gave her a fake smile before turning his head back to the board. A couple minutes into class they'd finished taking notes and were now doing problems in a worksheet. A pretty brunette with tan skinned turned around and tapped Johnny shoulder.

"Can you help me with this problem," she said flirtatiously

"Sure Lily, the answer is number four because you need to do this," Johnny wrote out a whole equation on her paper explaining to her how to do it.

Lily wasn't even paying any attention to what he was doing. She was too busy admiring his eyes

"Wow your so smart Johnny. You should tutor me one of these days," Lily spoke moving closer to Johnny.

"You should probably get someone smarter than me to tutor you."

"Yah bu...."

Before Lily could finish her statement the bell rang. Johnny quickly packed up and on his way out the door. Kenzie quickly finished packing up so she could catch up with Johnny.

"Wait up Johnny let's walk together"

Johnny then grabbed Kenzie hand and pulled her into a janitor's closet "Kenzie I know you're new to this whole school thing but how about you only act like you know me at home"

"But that would be lying."

"Kenzie" Johnny put his hands on her shoulders. "Don't you want to be my friend. Well friends do favors for each other."

"Okay then Johnny if it makes you feel better i'll ignore you in school"

"Thanks Kenzie, now i'm going to leave. Stay here and count to 100 before you walk out."

"Why"

"So no one gets any suspicions," Johnny said before walking out of the closet.

The robot began to count.
