It was the next morning, Kenzie charged herself up early since she's been keeping her distance from Orlando's. She was energized maybe a little too energized. She got up and put on her uniform. She remembered Lauren complaining about not knowing how to cook so she decided to make breakfast again. After making some eggs and toast for both Lauren and Johnny. She wrote a note and left it on the table.

TO LAUREN AND JOHNNY

Don't wait for me. I'm going to walk to school today. I made breakfast.

After leaving the note on the table she grabbed her bag and started walking to school. She didn't exactly know the directions but she had a Gps app installed on her software. She followed the directions it gave and eventually made it to school. She was a little too early though.

She walked to her locker and was met by Asher who was sitting crisscross in front of it.

"Why are you here so early," Kenzie asked.

"My mom drives me to school before she heads to work. She thinks if I walk myself I might pass out or something. I keep telling her I'll be fine but she insists."

"She's worrying because she loves you. It must be nice to have a mom," Kenzie said as she slid down her locker to take a seat right next to the boy.

"Oh, I'm sorry did you mom pass away?"

"Nope, I don't really have parents."

"Oh, I see. You're an orphan. Is that why you live with the Orlandos?"

"I guess you can say that."

"Oh uhm do you want to hang out after school today?" Asher tried his best to avoid this awkward situation.

"Is you're mom not going to pick you up?"

"Nope, she gets out of work too late so there's no time for her to try. I usually just take the bus home," Asher stood up. Kenzie followed.

"Are you guys making plans without me?" Bella said, walking up to the group from behind embracing each of them with a hug.

"Of course not you can join us I guess," Asher joked around.

"I guess. Listen little boy Kenzie was my friend first."

"Guys don't fight over me," Kenzie said acting appreciated. "Let's go to the Library."

"People are going to think where a bunch of loners," Bella said with a laugh as they walked side by side.

The trio walked into the library and sat down at one of the tables. Of course, they weren't actually going to read anything. Hardly any students went to the library. Usually the only people there are the ones who needed tutoring or the ones who usually go to make-out.

The two girls sat side by side with each other looking through Bella's phone. They were giggling back and forth with each other probably admiring cute boys. Asher sat across from them trying to finish his math homework.

"This makes absolutely no sense. I swear I'm going to fail this class."

"I can help."

Kenzie grabbed the book out of his hands and started to solve every problem for him. She completed the page in less than one minute.

"Wow, Kenzie you're really smart."

"I guess I kinda just see the answers."

"What?" Bella looked at Kenzie confusingly.

"I think she means she just remembers it," Asher spoke changing the topic.

"Ohhh."

Out of nowhere, Lily came in strutting across the library. She approached the table the trio was sitting at.

"Bella, what are you doing I was looking for you all morning? Tati and I want to ditch third period and get our nails done. Are you coming?"

"Sorry I have a Geometry test third period. Maybe next time," Bella lied through her teeth.

"You're ditching me for shapes," Lily looked at Bella in disgust.

"Sorry Lily. Here meet my new friend Kenzie she's like a tiny genius."

"We've meet before. Gym class remember. Besides what genius just sits there and lets a bunch of girls throw volleyball at her."

"I'm serious she's solved Asher homework I'm two seconds and she fixed my computer yesterday."

"Really then here," Lily said as she opened her bag and took out a math workbook. "Solve pages 20 to 50 before are first class. I was suppose to finish this assignment two weeks ago but I had other things on my mind."

Lily tossed the workbook in front of Kenzie. She then grabbed Bellas's hand and dragged her out of the library.

"She's such an evil bitch," Asher said under his breath.

"That's not very nice," Kenzie said frowning at him.

Kenzie opened Lily's workbook and started to do Lily's homework.

"You don't have to do that for her," Asher said.

"It's okay its actually kinda fun."

The bell rang meaning it was time for the first period. Kenzie and Asher parted ways and went to their first class. Kenzie's first class is Math where she sits next to Johhny. This was a class she was not ready for. Kenzie silently entered the classroom and sat down next to Johnny who was already there. Johnny was so confused. The old Kenzie would have greeted him with a smile or a hug but now she didn't even look him in the eye.

"Kenz..."

Before he could even get a sentence out Kenzie called out for Lily.

"Lily I finished your homework," Kenzie said smiling brightly as ever handing the book to her."

"Heh Kenzie why do you have my workbook? You're so silly," Lily said with a nervous laugh taking the book from Kenzie and smiling at Johnny.

"You asked me...."

"Thank you for returning my book Kenzie. I couldn't find it anywhere I thought I lost it," Lily said, interrupting Kenzie before she could finish that sentence.

Lily smiled at Johnny then faced towards the board.
