Mu Yeom's POV
-------------------------------------------------------

Ji Ul isn't picking up her phone, again, and for the thousandth time.

"When I don't need it you're always calling, but when I call you, you won't answer. What!" I said, frustrated.

"What's wrong?" Maria asked gently.

"She won't pick up!"

"By she, you mean Ji Ul."

I didn't answer. Is there even a need to?

"Did you see her do anything weird back at the airport?" I asked.

"Hmm, no. Does smiling at Tae Oh count?"

"She did what? Can't she still get the fact that he is a dangerous psychopathic serial killer with no emotion whatsoever into her head? I'm going out to find her."

"I'm coming too." Maria took her purse and headed to the door with me.

We were walking on a bridge when I subconsciously turned to look at the spot where I had saved Ji Ul last time. There she stood, the wind blowing her long hair back messily. I rubbed my eyes. Am I seeing things? Nope, she's still there.

"Yah!" I shouted, sprinting towards her. Maria immediately followed suit. I reached her, grabbed her arm and yanked her off the platform she was standing on. She crumpled onto the floor, and raised her head to look up at me.

"Hi." She said emotionlessly. She looked like a zombie. Her face was blank, and the eyes have lost their bright twinkle I used to see, they were just dull, and, dead.

"What the hell were you thinking? Was trying to suicide once not enough for you? I can't be here to save you all the time!" All the worry in me exploded out, mixed with anger and fury.

"Mu Yeom, calm down. I don't think she's herself. Let me handle this." Maria placed a gentle hand on my shoulder and took over.

"Ji Ul ah, is something bothering you?" Maria asked her.

"Obviously, can't you see?" Ji Ul muttered, gazing straight ahead unmovingly.

"So what is it?" Maria asked again.

Ji Ul waved her hands dismissively. "Even if I tell you.....what will you do?"

"We can help you."

"I doubt you can."

"We can try."

"No."

"Yah-" I began, but Maria stopped me.

"Okay, I see. You can tell me when you're ready to. But just promise me that you won't try to suicide again. Think about the people around you."

With that, Maria helped Ji Ul to her feet and started to bring her back home. What? That's it? But I didn't have a choice except for following them home as well.

Ji Ul was brought home. Her mom made a big, no, gigantic fuss(actually lots bigger than that) over her. If we had told her Ji Ul tried to kill herself, she would most definitely have gone mad.

I was still restless back home, I can't seem to focus on one thing at a time. I got up to find something to munch on, and that was when I heard a knock on the door. I ignored it, waiting for Maria to go answer, but still the knocks persisted. I sighed, and dragged myself over.

I opened the door to find Ji Ul, standing there looking tired and dishevelled. She smiled weakly at me. "Hi."

"Are you here for Maria?"
