Chapter 4: Meet Sakura's brother

Normal POV.

The wind blew, the trees rustled, a full moon and a surprise to finish it all off.

The girls slowly backed away from the trees. Black shadowy figures swiftly moved from tree to tree in the dark forest, until the figures landed meters away from the girls.

"Why?" one of the shadows asked but now it was no shadow but clearly Naruto. "Why, why did you leave!" No answer, just silence settled between the eight.

Sasuke stared at Sakura, his eyes pleading for an answer. Shikamaru and Neji's eyes showing the same.

Sakura just turned around, her back now facing the boys. "Are you going to come out or hide all day .... nii-san."
You could hear a loud chuckle coming from the shady forest behind the girls.

"Nii-san?" Sasuke gave a questioning glances to the other girls, but the three girls had no emotion in their eyes, just a blank expression.

"You certainly have grown a lot since I last saw you, of course you have grown, you were five back then and how many years has it been?" A orange haired man wearing a long black coat, with red clouds, walked out of the darkness. "Twelve." Sakura answered. "Oh yes, it has been twelve years hasn't it, far too long..." the orange haired man stated with a pained smile.

"Your brother is..." Tenten beat Ino to the word, " Pain..."

Another silence fell between all of them.

"Well we're here on a mission to bring you four back. We don't want to hurt you, just agree and you won't have much of a harsh punishment from the elders.." Neji spoke calmly, but was looking at Tenten the whole time he spoke.

Tenten turned her head away. "Sorry boys we're done with that trash of a village and you. Don't even try, your wasting your time." snickered Hinata with a sly grin. All the boys were in shock, literally, there mouths dropped open. Hinata turned her back towards the boys and finally said "I'm going with Sakura."

"Ok that's two out of four in, what about you two girls?" Pain asked Ino and Tenten. "I'm leaving with Sakura too, Tenten." Ino's head was down she didn't want them to see the tears that were threatening to fall again. Ino walked toward Hinata, Sakura and Pain. With her head still down.

A tear fell from Tenten's eye. "Tenten are you coming?" asked Sakura.

Tenten took a deep breath,'why was she crying? For whom? That jerk, Tenten it's time show them your not weak!' "I'm coming, let's go." Tenten's voice was stern and full of determination. Tenten straightened up and held her head high. 'He might have made her cry, he broke her heart, played with her emotion but she will not lose her pride! She'll show him! She's not weak! She's not gonna cry for him ever again!'

"Nii-san lets go..." Sakura was ready to leave her past behind. "Alright girls..." the girls and Pain were about to walk away when Shikamaru finally spoke "you girls aren't going anywhere, if we have to use force to bring you back then that's what we'll do."

"Sakura go on ahead with your friends, I'll take care of them..." Pain was going to attack when Sakura came up to whisper something in his ear. "Why! He hurt you-"
"PLEASE! Nii-san! Last favor I ever ask!"
"Fine.. Now go.." growled Pain.

"You girls aren't going anywhere!" Naruto yelled. Naruto was in sage mode and was charging at Pain with his rasenshuriken. Pain picked up Sakura bridal style and dodged Naruto just in time. He set Sakura down beside her friends. "Take care of her."

"You call yourself friends you almost killed her." Pain stared blankly at Naruto and then at the rest of the boys. His rinnegan glowing a bit.

"I've had enough of you, you might be her brother but she's my girlfriend!" Sasuke growled at Pain. "Huh, some kind a boyfriend you have here Sakura, acts as if still in love with you, just to complete a mission. Doesn't admit or apologize that he's cheated on you.. Disgusting." Pain truly had enough of these boys. "I'll take care of you first, so called "boyfriend" of my younger sister."

Sasuke activated his sharigan. "Oh yes, your Itachi's younger brother aren't you, your lucking kid that I can't kill you."

The boys charged at Pain all together. Neji's byakugan activated again, Shikamaru making some hand seals, Sasuke's chidori and Naruto's rasengan.

But before they could land any hits they were pushed back with Pains almighty push, hit their heads on trees and blacked out.

"We're leaving.." Pain leaded the girls in to the dark and misty forest. All of the girls thinking the same 'this is a new beginning for a better life... Right?'
