"What?!" Olympia, said, jumping up from her seat.

"Shhh!"

"What the fuck do you mean moms not taking us home?"

"Shut up and sit down!" I said, pushing her back into her chair. "We have to be discreet, okay? Pandora and I aren't even 100 % sure yet. We just overheard a conversation."

"I think we should talk to Ma." Demetrie said, leaning closer and lowering her voice. "If what you say is true, things are going to get complicated and fast." She pulled out her phone and began furiously typing away at her screen, tightening her ponytail, one of her tells that she's stressed. Pandora moved to sit next to her, as she had a mini panic attack before turning back to me. "She's right. We have to ask her."

"Uh correction? You and I will ask her," I said, looking at my sister. "You three don't need to interfere just yet. Also we have to talk to Nan first. I for one would love to stay in Greece with my boyfriend and best friends, and I dont want to fuck anything u-"

"I'm sorry your boyfriend?!"

Fuck.

Everyone stared at me as I glanced at my lap, my cheeks flaming. "Oh ya..you remember Tasio right?"

"Obviously!" Eucalyptus said, exasperated. "He's only your childhood best friend of 17 years! You guys are dating?!"

"Ya..." I paused, not knowing how much to tell them. "We made it official a month and a bit ago."

"This is way too much information in under two hours."

"A month and a bit ago? We've only been here two months!"

"Why didn't you tell me sooner?!"

"Ok enough!" I said, standing up and beginning to pace around the room. "We ask Nan and only Nan tomorrow night. For now, just in case were wrong, go enjoy the last few nights of being home. It may come to a stop before you think."

Me and Pandora then ushered our siblings out the door, before parting ways- myself calling Tasio and her texting Cyia.

"See you in a bit." I said, beginning to walk down Artemis Ave, phone in hand, waiting for a reply from my boyfriend, confusion and stress overwhelming me.I made the decision not to tell Tasio though- I didn't want to give him false hope just yet. I picked up a faster pace as I hurried to buy two chocolate croissants from a street vendor and a big jug of "kollódes potó" meaning sticky drink in english. It was crazy good, and Tasio's favourite thing in the world.

Just then my phone buzzed his reply:

"What's up, catbug?"

"You wanna meet at our spot, rebecca?" I typed quickly, before hitting send, and giggling. And yes, I know pet names can be corny, but they're also super cute. Especially since Catbug is literally the cutest thing ever.

"Sure. B there in 5?"

"Sounds good."
I jogged into the northern side of the beach, and slowed down to walk through the "forest". Even though it wasn't a typical forest, it was located on my mothers property- the house we normally would stay in when we came to Greece. It had tall lucious palm trees- and a little special something built right into the highest tree by me and Tasio when we were kids. Running up to it, I pulled down the basket, and tugged on the rope to pull myself up.

Tasio's dad basically built the whole thing.

Quickly enough I reached the top, nothing special, just a cute little tree house and a ten by ten foot set of boards, nailed together and stabilized to look and act like a patio, perfect for stargazing. Just as I had reached the top, I heard a shuffling in the leaves below and Tasio popped his head out, as he pulled himself up to our secret clubhouse.

"This seems unsafe." He muttered, as he climbed out of the old basket and onto the wood of the treehouse.

"Don't be such a wimp, you're fine." I giggled as I handed him his chocolate croissant and placed the two litre of pop in between us.

"Aw thanks Circe." He said, turning to sit next to me. This was our seven teenth date so far, and probably my favourite one yet. Sure going out to fancy diners and catching the late night movies is fun- but this was spectacular. I could see the stars and the ocean perfectly from here as the slightly raised play form made it easy for us to see almost all of Nafplio, whilst still not letting them see us. I leaned into his shoulder, my hand on his thigh and his fingers playing with my glossy hair. Even though we were dating, he was still my very best friend, someone I could goof off with, play games, build forts and love, truly and honestly. I let out a long sweet sigh as I turned my nose up to his cheek, breathing in the soothing and salty ocean air as I stared into his beautiful blue eyes. I smiled, gently and sweetly, as I pressed my lips against his, Tasio grabbing me by the waist pulling me closer to his chest. I giggled, as I pulled away, laying my head down on his lap and staring at the stars once again.

NOTES: Wow two chapters in one day? Quarantine has me on a roll, even though I would honestly much rather sleep until 2 PM, do some stuff and then go back to sleep around 4 AM lmao. As I was saying , I think I may be wrapping this book up FOR THE TIME BEING, as I work on another idea I have. Definitely  might come back to it, as I'm kinda in love with this plot line, but  idk if it would be in another book, like in a series or if it would just be a part two to this one. Anyways, please remember to stay inside, stay smart and stay safe! Ilyg ty for reading:)
