I had successfully made it down to my dorm without anyone seeing me. I reached the door and searched vigorously around my bag for the dorm key.
"O dear."
I have just gone and done it. This must be the worst day of my life. Knocking on the door I prayed that someone had left class early and just happened to be sharing the same room as me. With no luck I sunk into a ball outside the door and glanced at my phone, informing me that I had to wait an hour and a half before the final bell went and someone sharing my room hopefully should come and save me. I should have just stayed at the nursing bay until the bell went which would have saved me all this trouble.
"What am I going to do with myself for another hour and a half?"
I had taken the map of the school out with me, so I went to get up only to fall straight back down again. I was exhausted. All the traumatic experiences I had gone through today had completely drained me of any energy I previously had owned. So, I sat. Waiting. At around four oclock, two girls: one with blonde hair, blue eyes and a chill outfit and one with brown hair, brown eyes and a rather fancy outfit for school came walking by. They seemed relatively nice and smiled at me once they seen me.
"You must be Samantha, our new roommate."
"Sam's fine. I'm new, you've probably heard a lot about me already though..."
I let out a small laugh as the girl with blonde hair nodded and laughed. "Well, I mean you are the talk of the school at the moment."
"Give over Sarah, it's not that bad. I'm Aria by the way, this idiot standing beside me is Sarah."
"I am not an idiot!" Aria looked at her and rolled her eyes ten looked back at me. "Ok, maybe I am an idiot but at least I don't look like I'm supposed to be at a fashion show rather than school."
"Totally, just because I dont want to look like I just rolled out of the bed like."
"Ok, ok I think both of you look great."
In unison they both shouted, "Be quiet Sam!"
I could tell right away that I was going to fit right in with these lunatics of roommates. They had completely different personalities and they reminded me of something you would see on a classic high school drama. They continued to argue over how one was stupid in one way and the other in the other way.
"Can you like actually calm yourselves down?"
"Guys?"
I tried to stop the several times with no result, so I did the only thing that what get them to be quiet
"Will you both shut up! My God you both are like parrots, one nagging after the other!"
Let's just say that kept them quiet for a while. I was starting to get weaker by the knees after all that shouting and arguing so I pointed to the door as Aria fumbled around in her large pink Prada handbag looking for the key. She pulled out the golden key and opened the door, as I rushed to my bed before I collapsed into a heap onto the floor. The single bed reminded me of something we would have slept on in our campervan when we used to go on vacation: hard, lumpy and incredibly uncomfortable but it would have to do, think I would prefer it to the floor to be honest.
Next to speak was Aria, "You good Sam?"
"Let's just say I have probably just had the most eventful day of my life."
"Surely it cant top mine."
"You want to bet?"
"Shoot."
