"Thanks, it means a lot. I didn't have many friends in my old school. Correction I didn't have any."
Lewis looked at me funny, "So, you have never had a boyfriend?"
"No, I have never had a boyfriend. What's that got to do with friends, they are quite different." I laughed and he looked up and down several times.
"I mean, you are quiet a charm for most of the boys in this school. I can tell you that half of them have fallen for you already. I think its mainly because you hit Josh though."
I gasped and covered my mouth so quickly almost like it was a reflex. Then everyone started laughing.
"I mean to be honest he kind of deserved it, who even sneaks up on someone in the gym?"
Everything went silent and all eyes went to above my head. Slowly turning my head left I expected to see someone standing behind me. I was expecting to see a Josh behind me but what I got was much worse. I got airport guy. The tall, tanned boy was standing directly above me as I tilted my head backwards, he smiled.
"Well, look what we have here."
He had a crowd of boys standing behind him. They all looked like they belonged in the gym. They all had tattoos, some more than the others. Were they the Pythons? Was he part of the Pythons?
I turned back to face the group that had been laughing all of ten seconds ago. They all looked like they had seen a ghost. They must have been the Pythons, they had to have been.
"Maybe we should go?"
Zach stood up along with Aria, the rest of them looked like they were paralyzed. "Yes, lets go, you have to get up early tomorrow for class Sam and you're bound to be tired from all that travelling."
I turned around and was within a ruler distance from airport guy. "Sam is it?"
"Yes, its Sam. Not that it concerns any of you anyway."
That was obviously a bad move as I felt someone tugging on my hoodie.
His whole group started laughing and making fun of him, pushing and pulling at his shoulders. "I am not a big fan of that attitude you have Sam."
"Well what if I said I wasnt a big fan of yours? Would you get out of my way?"
The cheering just got louder and soon enough we had attracted most of the dining halls attention. He looked at me as I could see the frustration building up in his face. We never left eye contact, even though he was a good head taller than me.
"I would watch yourself if I was you. Unfortunately, enough I have the power to make your life hell."
"I'd like to see you try."
I shoved past him and his crew as they all started whistling and wooing. I walked towards the cleaning up area, to return my dishes and my tray. Suddenly he shouted so loud everyone went silent, even his crew.
"Watch your back princess!"
I rolled my eyes and continued walking. The walk back was silent. It was only me, Aria and Sarah since the rest of them lived on a separate floor. Nothing had been said about the so-called fight in the hall since, but I knew as soon as we went through our dorm door I was going to have it. That dorm door just seemed to be getting closer and closer. It felt like the closer we got to the door, the slower we walked. It was like we didn't want to face the truth. That really just happened. I am the newest member of this school and yet nearly the entire school knows me. For several reasons now obviously. One, because I attacked Josh. Two, because I ticked off one of boys from the year above (who of course could be from the Pythons). And three, well as the girl who caused a massive scene in the dining hall. What a way to make a first impression.
