MIRU
It was almost lunch and I haven't seen Taehyung anywhere. Not that I cared, it was just that his philosophy book was with me and I didn't plan to keep it forever.
I'm not even surprised if he skipped class.
I glanced at the empty seat at the very back, right beside the window. Taehyung wasn't the type to skip the entire school day, so far I've known. He'd skip class sometimes, classes that don't pique his interest, but would come back later.
Although, if he did skip school I'd probably tell a guy to bring his book to his dorm room because you know, girls aren't allowed in boys' dorm and vice versa.
The bell rang, signifying the end of the period. The teacher dismissed the class. I grabbed my belongings and went to the lockers to take a few books for my next class. While I was about to press in my password, I exchanged eye contact with a familiar person.
"Park Jimin," I greeted and he gave me a smile, which was contagious so I also smiled. "Have you seen Taehyung anywhere?"
"Ah, he skipped math, didn't he?" Jimin sighed. Jimin is Taehyung's best buddy, the closest friend of his. Everyone knows that already. Jimin is from the science track, same year as us. He is also Taehyung's roommate and from what I've heard, they have been friends since junior high. "He texted me a while ago, I think he's at the rooftop."
Of course. It's always the rooftop.
I mentally rolled my eyes.
"I see. Thank you, Jimin!" I said and fast-walked down the hallway, not wanting to be yelled by the teacher for running. I found the staircase and just as I was about to step on it, the door of the teacher's office opened.
"Twit- I mean, Taehyung?"
"Oh, hi." A sleepy looking Kim Taehyung greeted.
"Why were you at the teacher's office? And why did you skip class?" I asked, leaning to the stairs' railing.
"I got scolded by a teacher. He found me sleeping at the rooftop, not sure why he was there either but hey, the students are always the one at fault. Also, I might or might not have put glue on his chair." Taehyung said, yawning as he ruffled his hair. His eyes were still half-opened. "What? Were you looking for me, princess?"
I smacked his head with his notebook, earning a groan from him. "Your philosophy homework. I've done it."
He looked at the book that I had slapped on his chest. He wore a boyish grin and took it. "You're the best."
"You're the best." I mocked him.
"Hey, can I have some of your water? I haven't drank anything since morning." He asked, seemingly wide awake already.
I looked at him with questioning eyes and gave him my water bottle. "Why?"
I widened my eyes when he gulped down all of it. He literally finished a whole three fourths of the bottle and now I don't have any left.
He's unbelievable!
"Hey, what the heck?!" I snatched my bottle back and stared at it, jaws dropped. "Taehyung, I don't have money to buy drinks!" I whined. I wasn't lying though, my parents haven't sent me money. I used it to help pay for my club's activity budget, since I'm part of it. I also bought some stuff earlier this month, and to buy food from the cafeteria.
I glared at him who was looking at me with an amused expression. He slung an arm around my neck, headlocking me, which caught me by surprise. He laughed, watching me yell and hit his arm, threatening to kill him if he doesn't let me go. "Taehyung, I'm not a man! Let go!"
