MIRU

"Hi, Jimin!" I greeted when I saw a familiar figure passing by the lockers. Jimin smiled, his eyes smiling prior to his lips.

"Hi, Miru. Going to lunch?" Asked him. I nodded while returning my geography books in my locker. Jimin stood to my right, his back leaning on to the lockers. "I guess we'll be eating alone then, Taehyung said he'll be eating with Sian. That kid, I swear, he'll be getting a girl before me."

I looked at Jimin, pursing my lips. I will be leaving this poor boy alone for the whole lunch. "I'm sorry, Jimin. I have... things to do too."

"What? No way, you guys are leaving me?" Jimin said, his face showed disbelief but I knew he understood that we have our reasons. "Fine, at least walk to lunch with me so I wouldn't be so alone."

"Alright, alright." I chuckled, closing my locker. I then walked with Jimin down the hall, to the cafeteria.

I had no idea where Taehyung went after the bell rang, he just dashed outside without minding me. He's probably chasing after his crush right now, whatever. Last night, I managed to convince myself that I have no feelings for that Kim Taehyung whatsoever.

It was just my heart reacting to cute guys, as usual.

I can't lie, I often go weak at Jimin's smile too.

Hm.

"Miru!" I heard my name being called the moment I stepped into the cafeteria. I turned my head towards the feminine voice.

"Ari." I greeted back with a smile. She was sitting near the entrance with her group of friends, they were all waving at me.

"Hey, come sit with us!" Ari said, her hand signalling me to come.

"Go sit with them, Miru." Jimin muttered behind me, nudging me a little. I whispered a little 'no' making sure nobody heard me but him.

"Ah, no, it's okay." I let out, not knowing how to reject them. I was just not sure if I could fit in with them. They all seemed totally different than me, it was almost intimidating.

I'll be honest, I think I would never be close with Taehyung and Jimin if they didn't approach me first.

"Come on, you don't even hang with me as often anymore. Come sit with us! We were just talking about that new gossip and stuff. Here!" Ari scooted and made a space next to her. She pat the empty space and looked at me with persuading eyes. "Sit here!"

"Uh..." I pursed my lips and lightly grabbed Jimin's long sleeve behind me, asking for help. I really didn't want to sit with a group of people I wasn't close to.

"M-Miru, the line is getting long. Hurry up before lunch is over." Jimin said quickly and dragged me away from them. I bowed a little as an apology to them and went with Jimin. "What was that?" Jimin asked.

"Ugh, it's nothing." I replied, my eyes meeting with another deep, dark pair of eyes as I walked to the queue with Jimin. Taehyung's eyes were stuck on mine and I could swear that I saw nothing else but him in the big room for one short second.

Why is he always there to see me in my worst state?

Taehyung then pointed at a direction, which my eyes followed afterwards. Hoseok was standing in his fila hooded jacket. He was in front of a vending machine, choosing a drink. I looked back at Taehyung and he waved his hand, telling me to go to Hoseok.

At that moment, I realized that he was already sitting on a table alone with Sian, who was backfacing me. She didn't notice Taehyung talking to me so I didn't bother to greet her.
