Chapter 8: Heaven's Light and Hell's Fire

      As soon as Naruto reaches the ledge, Sasuke appears "Hi there. I'm looking for the gypsy girl. Have you seen her?" he asks him "Naruto gets very angry at the sight of a guard. He takes a swing with a torch of fire. "Whoa, whoa! Easy!" Sasuke trying to calm the bell ringer down "No soldiers! Sanctuary! Get out!" Naruto shouts orders "Wait! All I wanted was to--" Sasuke tries to explain "Go!" Naruto shouts "I mean her no harm!" Sasuke explains "Go!" shouts louder. Naruto begins swinging it at Sasuke. Sasuke backs off, but Naruto continues to swing back down the stairs, Sasuke finally draws his sword and swings, pinning the torch against the wall. Naruto grabs Sasuke by the chest. "You tell her from me, I didn't mean to trap her here, but it was the only way to save her life. Will you tell her that?" Sasuke explains but Naruto doesn't respond "Will you?" the soldier asks "If you go. Now!" Naruto barks "I'll go. Now, will you put me down, please?" Sasuke asks motioning to Naruto that he's several feet off the ground. Naruto sets Sasuke down, As the soldier starts to leave, he turns to say something. "Oh. And one more thing. Tell Sakura she's very lucky." Sasuke adds drawing his sword "Why?" Naruto raises an eyebrow "To have a friend like you." Sasuke answered briefly. 

    After Sasuke leaves, Naruto returns to his room where he's greeted by the gargoyles "Hey hey! There he is!" Jiraiya cheers "You ejected that tin-plated baboon with great panache!" Gai adds " The nerve of him! Snooping around here trying to steal your girl." Jiraiya rolls his eyes "My girl?" Naruto wondered "Sakura. Pink hair, works with a goat. Remember?" Tsunade asked him making Jiraiya blush "Boy, I do! Way to go, loverboy!" he rejoiced "Loverboy!?! Oh, no, no..." Naruto chuckles "Oh, don't be so modest" Tsunade smiled " Look. I appreciate what you're all trying to do, but let's not fool ourselves. Ugliest face in all Konoha, remember? I don't think I'm her type." Naruto laughed as he began to make a figure of Sakura while the gargoyles draw pictures of Sakura.

NO FACE AS HIDEOUS AS MY FACE

WAS EVER MEANT FOR HEAVEN'S LIGHT

BUT SUDDENLY AN ANGEL HAS SMILED AT ME

AND KISSED MY CHEEK WITHOUT A TRACE OF FRIGHT

I DARE TO DREAM THAT SHE

MIGHT EVEN CARE FOR ME

AND AS I RING THESE BELLS TONIGHT

MY COLD DARK TOWER SEEMS SO BRIGHT

I SWEAR IT MUST BE HEAVEN'S LIGHT!

As Naruto rings the bells, a group of monks in the ground level of the cathedral, incensing the church.
