While Danzo was on the hunt for Sakura, the gargoyles and Naruto wait anxiously for the good news as they watch the city burn. "Oh, it doesn't look good" Tsunade sighed "It's hopeless. Absolutely hopeless" Gai sulks. "You're telling me!" Jiraiya shouts as he plays cards with a pigeon "I'm losing to a bird!" he groans. "Oh, that poor gypsy girl. I'm beginning to fear the worst" Gai cried "I know, but, now, don't you say anything to upset Naruto. He's worried enough already." Tsunade explained "Yeah, you're right. We'd better lighten up" Jiraiya added "Shh, shh, shh! Here he comes!" Gai whispered "Now just stay calm." Tsunade adds "Not a word" Victor whispered "Easy does it" Jiraiya shuffles his cards "Stone faced" Gai stiffens up.
"Any sign of her?" Naruto asks causing Gai to crack "Oh, it's a lost cause!" he cries "She could be anywhere! In the stocks, in the dungeon, on the rack!" Naruto comforts him patting his shoulder. "Nice work, Gai" Tsunade replied bluntly "No, he's right. What are we going to do?" Naruto pondered. "What are you guys talking about? If I know Sakura, she's three steps ahead of Danzo, and well out of harm's way!"(On "Sakura", Hugo shows a Queen from his deck of cards. On "three", he shows a 3, and on "Danzo", he shows a joker.) "Do you really think so?" Naruto asks "Hey, when things cool off, she'll be back. You'll see." Jiraiya says as he gets some bread out of a basket. "What makes you so sure?" Naruto asks "Because she likes you" Tsunade smiled "We always said you were the cute one." "I thought I was the cute one!" Jiraiya says with a mouth full of food "No, you're the fat, stupid one with the big mouth!" Tsunade shouts as Jiraiya finishes eating "What are you saying, exactly?" Jiraiya rose an eyebrow. "Take it from us, Naruto. You've got nothing to worry about." Tsunade reassured him "Yeah, you're irresistible" Jiraiya adds "Knights in shining armor certainly aren't her type." Gai chuckled "And those guys are a dime a dozen. But you? You're one of a kind." Jiraiya said
