I met Darren at 7 in a small cafe on campus for dinner. As soon as I walked in I could tell he was upset. He was running his hand through his bush of hair and his other hand tapped on the table.
"Hey.."- I said as I sat down
He looked up and nodded at me before sighing.
"Is something wrong??"- I questioned
Again no answer, just staring into my eyes...
"Darren what is it?!"
He clenched his jaw and his hand curled into a fist before he replied. "You can't hang out with Joey."
"Why not?"
"He isn't right for you, you don't want another Damien do you??"
"How do you know he is like Damien?"
"i can tell.."
"So I am supposed to believe your hunch?"
"yes Bree it's for your own good."
Now I was getting angry, he isn't in charge of me, I didn't even think of Joey as more than friends, I just met him! And im getting a lecture from Darren?!
"Darren you can't tell me what to do, who do you think you are?!"
"Aubree please I'm looking out for you!"
"I don't need you too, I can take care of myself, good bye."- I said standing up and walking away
