Chapter #1: The Secret News

Sooyoung was furiously waiting for her baggage once She has landed and done with the immigration procedures. She looked at her watch, knowing that she was 15 minutes late already from the promised time with her brother. 

To: My Cool Brother

Oppa, I'll be late. My baggage is not here yet.

From: My Cool Brother

That's alright! Let me know once you are done! I bought you hot chocolate!

To: My Cool Brother

You are the best!!

She grinned at herself, sending the last message to her brother while waiting for her baggage. Not long after that, She saw her Silver 28" Samsonite luggage. She immediately grabbed it and took it with her, calling her brother that She is done already.

3 days ago

It was a bright morning and Sooyoung was enjoying the morning air of Switzerland. She went out with her travel best-friend Wendy to find some food for breakfast at the nearest restaurant. Breakfast was good, She ordered herself nussgipfel a swiss croissant with walnut cream and glaze covered on top along with a cup of coffee. Wendy, on the other hand, ordered rösti, a pancake prepared of grated potatoes. Both of them enjoyed their breakfast delightfully and once finished They decided to take a walk. "Did you find any new ideas?" Wendy asked the girl who is now busy taking photos of her surrounding with her phone. Sooyoung peeked at the blonde and shrugged her shoulders "Not really...writer block hits me again".
They strolled around, taking photos together. Playing in the park until Sooyoung received a phone call from the other side of the world. Sooyoung excused herself and picked up her phone. It was her father, and she finds it a bit weird for her Father to call her during her trip. But what shocked her the most was after that.

"Sooyoung-ah please go home tomorrow. I have something to tell"

"Huh? Dad.. You know I am on vacation right? and you can tell me now"

"Baby... this is urgent... we need to talk face to face"

"B-but...."A sudden pause before she continued her words."Fine... I will try to find a ticket for tomorrow"
"Great! You know your  Brother, Donggeun is here! He will pick you up at the airport"

"Sure Dad. I will let you know later. I love you"
"Love you too baby"

She sighed, finished her call and walked back to wendy. Wendy noticed the sudden change in the girl and asked her why, Sooyoung told Wendy everything. That morning instead of going to places, Sooyoung went back to her hotel room and busy packing after she booked a flight to home. 
The next day, Wendy sent her off to the airport early in the morning since her flight is at 10.
"I haven't even visited many places" Sooyoung pouted as she shared a goodbye hug with Wendy which only earned a chuckle from the other girl. "Ay.. there will be next time! Don't worry I will take a lot of photos for your reference". With that Sooyoung went inside. After almost 12 hours in the sky and 6 hours layover, She finally arrived in Incheon, South Korea. Home.

a week ago

Sungjae was busy editing some of the photos he just took the other days with his laptop.
"Bro, I'm going back to Seoul tomorrow" Peniel from the other side of the room breaking the silence in the studio. Sungjae who was focused on his work immediately look at Peniel. "Huh?" "Yeah, my dad asked me to go home also mom said she missed me." "Oh, I thought your parents divorced?" Sungjae asked, Peniel just gave him a small chuckle "Doesn't mean we are in a bad term". Sungjae nodded at his friend. His phone is ringing and the caller ID is his dad which is strange because his dad barely contacts him nowadays.

"Sungjae My Son!" his dad called him in an excited tone. Ah, he is happy, Sungjae thoughts.
"Hey, Dad. Miss this son of yours?"
"Yes! That's why you should go home tomorrow."

"W-what?"

"I have good news for you! And I need to tell you face-to-face!"
"Not over the phone?"
"No..no son! this is not something I could say on the phone"

"But dad if it's about the company you kn-"
"No son it's not about that. Oh, I have a meeting. See you at our house!"

"I am going back to Seoul too tomorrow" Sungjae sighed informing his friend Peniel who only laugh at him. "Need help with the ticket?" Sungjae just nodded, closing his laptop as he lost his interest to continue his work.

Incheon
February 1st, 2020

Sooyoung walked out the arrival gate, looking around for the presence of her brother. And there She found her brother standing, with a paper written Welcome back Miss Korea on his hands and a big grin on his face. She chuckled, walking quite fast to his direction then tackled him into a tight hug. "Oppa! I missed you!!!" She chirped, Her brother could only laugh at her and returning the hug. "Missed you to sister. Let's go!" Peniel released himself from the hug gently then managed to get the girl's luggage. He leads her to where he parked the car. "Oppa, do you know why dad asked me to come home?" Sooyoung tilted her head, looking curiously at the boy who is now driving the car. Peniel shrugged yet grinned, his eyes focus on the road "Not really, He didn't tell me". Sooyoung just pouted at him knowing that she won't get any answers until her father give her the answer of this so-called secret news. The drive back home was filled with laughter and jokes, Sooyoung would tell Peniel her travel experiences and Peniel would tell her about his works.
